I must say I am extremely impressed with the quality of service from the first phone call through the tutoring sessions. It is a night and day difference between Arbor and other companies around. These are the best tutors in the business PERIOD.

Solomon is basically a miracle worker. He started off as my chemistry teacher then ended up helping me with all my work for the next semester and this current one. Quantum Prep is the most organized teaching institution, with the best teachers. I highly recommend the entire organization to anyone who wants to understand and succeed quickly and efficiently.

Club Z has been nothing but amazing to me. The whole experience, from the enrollment to the actual tutoring, has been nothing short of fantastic. The company is very professional, friendly, and accommodative, and you immediately get a sense that the tutors really want to see you succeed. With the actual tutoring I've achieved fabulous results, raising my test scores a substantial amount. Tutors are very friendly, making tutoring and communicating easy and stress free. I highly recommend Club Z to anyone in search of any kind of tutor. I have no doubt that club Z will match you up with the perfect tutor for your needs.

Ihab is quite possibly the best math tutor I have ever had. He is enthusiastic, encouraging, and sharp. He is able to adjust his teaching style to fit the learning style of the student. His years of experience allow him to teach his students material in a way most tutors are unable to. 5 stars.

Dr James is a great teacher! He is very passionate about what he does and is extremely knowledgeable. He was my undergraduate astrophysics professor and I assist him with stellar evolution research. I highly recommend him for teaching/tutoring as he keeps your attention, makes complex subjects awesome to learn, teaches neat French phrases and what not to say because it actually means something else, and is quick to respond to questions.

Rebecca Oscar: “Trevor is a very capable tutor who extended his expertise to my children in an organized and thoughtful fashion. The materials he uses to teach writing are strong and established classical methods and his patience and kindness creates a valuable learning environment. Trevor is an approachable educator who is supportive and offers feedback to both parent and child. I highly recommend Trevor for anyone looking to strengthen their child's academic performance."

Gold Test Prep helped me ace my SATs! My score improved by ~250 points with just 3 weeks of tutoring. I wish I had signed on with them sooner! All of the tutors are really timely/professional and they know how to make the material easy to understand. I highly recommend this company! Thanks, GTP!

I attribute Chyten for raising my daughters grades from Bs and Cs to mostly As. The confidence she gained from their personal, compassionate, tutoring helped her in all her subjects - not just the ones for which we had her tutored. And, Jim himself, is very approachable and always ready to discuss your options and come up with the best approach for your particular child. I am amazed at how well he knows my child and her specific needs and accomplishments.

About

I work with students to ensure they understand the challenging concepts that present themselves in math and science courses. I focus on giving students the intellectual tools to further their own learning in an independent setting. I provide my students with custom-made resources and tools to guide them without my explicit help.

About

I am going to be attending Cornell University in the fall on the honors astrophysics and mathematics tracks. I have a 4.0 GPA for all of high school, a 2370/2400 on the SAT, and am passionate about teaching. I could travel to a client or tutor in my own house. I have tutored 5 students before that include the following: * 8th grade general tutoring * 10th grade general tutoring * 12th grade math tutor * 11th grade physics tutor * 12th grade SAT tutor

About

We are very selective with the tutors we hire. We only hire the best. We train our tutors, we use the best technology. We tutor ALL academic subjects and have tutors spread out throughout the country. We do background checks for all of our tutors.

About

There are a number of things I do that stand out. First, I'm not out to make a big profit from this. You get the amount of service you need, and meet the goals that are realistic, at a reasonable price. There is nobody, and I do mean NOBODY! who can teach some learning disabled kids better, faster, and to the best of their abilities than I can. I have recommendations from professional peers, a recent supervisor, and parents that will tell you that, time and time again. I can - when conditions are right - teach people how to tell which hand is which, In ONE TO FOUR MINUTES. These are severely dyslexic people, who have NEVER been able to tell their right hand from their left, through ages 11 to 21. Sound impossible? It's real. I travel to you, unless you'd rather meet somewhere central, like a local library. So much of what you pay goes to car expense. To balance costs, I use longer tutoring sessions of 1 to 2 hours per session, and fewer sessions, when possible. When you can't sit that long, we take short breaks and / or have shorter sessions anyway.

About

I'm a retired teacher and I have experience teaching Spanish and Science at middle and high school level.

About

I tailor my teaching to individuals - no student is the same and hence no student has the same experience!

About

I am offering tutoring in the following areas: math (pre-algebra, algebra I and geometry); science (high school biology, chemistry and conceptual physics); SAT math preparation. Morning, afternoon and evening hours are available.  I have 10 years of teaching middle school and high school science and math. I earned my PhD in geochemistry and I have experience working as an environmental geochemist. I have developed curriculum for schools and after-school science clubs, and taught both.  I try to create a warm and engaging learning environment that supports their executive functioning needs and works with all types of learners. I find learning fun and hope to make it that for my students. Lastly, I see math and science in the world all around us and try to infuse an understanding and appreciation of these in our daily lives.

My philosophy in teaching Statistics is to make it not as difficult or boring as it seems. My approach is customized to students' background, abilities, and interests in Statistics.
