Tech was professional in providing answers to my questions and corrected the error made by the original installer. Now the hot and cold water come out of the standard sides! When making my payment I requested a physical paper copy of the receipt be sent to me because my computer is not currently working properly and I cannot open or read the standard receipt he emailed to me. The compression shutoff valves at my place were really old and they don’t work any more. Mike offered a reasonable price, and did the work quickly and professionally. Since I wanted to change both kitchen and bathroom shutoff valves, Mike asked a friend to cams along. Everything was done within 50 mins from when the building water was shutoff, this minimized disruption to my neighbors. They did have to put in a bunch of new piping and so it ended up slightly more than original estimate. But after Mike left, I realized he also replaced my dishwasher shutoff valves too which wasn’t in the original ask. Mike was reliable and updated me with his schedule/ETA promptly. Overall couldn’t have asked for more. Here are some before/after photos, all the new shiny valves are the 90 degree turn valves. If I ever need any other plumbing work, I know who to call.
