Omg Gladys is bomb.com she came in and automatically got to work she helped me with my make up made sure my wedding party was ready she even came back to help fan myself lol (won't go into detail) because it had got so hot in the lil room I was in the so called bridal quarters. The ceremony was spectacular and just so happens my to walk down the aisle to happened to be her favorite but you all will have to figure that out on your own I won't reveal shhh anywho I would recommend Gladys 10×over love her Thanks Gladys for the most amazing ceremony
I've been in the wedding and social business for a long time, I met Jennifer a few years back and have referred business to her and collaborated with her at bridal events and have always been impressed with her floral designs and her positive and welcoming attitude. When it came time to select a florist for my own daughter's wedding, I didn't hesitate in calling her. My daughter's ceremony was a private family event in VT and the week following was a large reception brunch in MA. Though we were not initially doing flowers for the VT event, Jennifer offered and literally the day before my daughter decided yes in fact she wanted a bridal bouquet and boutonniere for her groom and I picked it up the morning we were driving to VT. Jennifer worked from a photo and designed a stunning bouquet and my daughter was thrilled, and with her instruction, I kept it looking lovely for the ceremony the next day. The following week, she amazed us again with exactly matching what my daughter envisioned in her mind, soft greens, succulents and whites nestled around large cylinders with white stairway pillars. The place was gorgeous! She was relaxed, composed and a pleasure to work with!
John was a delight to work with! I hosted a Bridal Shower Brunch for my daughter with 45 guests, and the food received rave reviews. There was more than enough for everyone and just enough leftovers for me and a few friends to enjoy later. John's attention to detail and his service is excellent. I received five quotes from Thumbtack for caterers and J & L had the best selection, best pricing and best professional and friendly approach.
Helga was wonderful to work with. She took care of all the details and enabled me to relax and enjoy my daughters bridal shower. I didn't worry about a thing. Helga and her crew were professional and didn't have to worry about clean up after. It was all done for me....from start to finish. I would highly recommend her and plan on using Helga again in the near future!
We hired Julie for our Daughter’s September 17 wedding and her “Day of Wedding Coordinator Services”, and were extremely satisfied with her professional services. Our Daughter and her Fiancé rented a 5-bedroom house on a picturesque lake in Westminster to host their outdoor wedding. They wanted a relaxed family party vibe, with no full service caterer, no servers or bartenders, and no DJ. As a former wedding consultant, I knew that I could not be both an impartial consultant and the Mother-of-the-Bride. We searched the area, found Something Bleu, and after chatting with Julie briefly, realized that she would be perfect for our daughter’s wedding. Julie reviewed our Daughter’s final to-do lists, and believe it or not, day-of event Gantt charts. She met everyone the evening before the wedding to supervise the ceremony rehearsal and review the reception. The next morning she arrived early and worked with family and friends to set the tables, place flowers and decorations, and sign off on food delivery. More importantly, she was at all times our eyes and ears behind the scenes, and kept everything flowing seamlessly throughout the day. Julie’s assistance was absolutely essential in making the day the huge success that it was. Her special touches and suggestions were most welcome, and I highly recommend her.
Working with John was a breeze. He kept up with me via email right until the day of my event. He catered a Bridal shower for 60 people - Couldn't have been happier with the food. Everything was so fresh! He was preparing most of it in my kitchen! Amazing Chef and Amazing value.

I own two high end consignment shops. Our challenges, as most retail shops, is constantly getting in new merchandise & getting it out while at the same time making it look beautiful and 'Boutique' like. We are also small in square footage - so another challenge - is putting merchandise out again making it work, removing the clutter, turning over product. That's where Cathy walks in and transforms the store. As far as being creative; she amazes me with her ideas/visions & how well she actually brings them to life. As well as, how quickly she can do a 'touch up' and make the store look so new and refreshed! In my shops it is vital to make our merchandise look as beautiful and as high end as it is. & she comes through time and time again. After, a visit to the shop - it looks better 100% but sales both on-line and in-store are increased. Customers love it and look forward to our changes & comment positively each time. She has made an impact on my store both aesthetically pleasing as well as financially (sales). A huge win for us & our customers/consignors. I highly, highly recommend her, but hate to share her! To whom this may concern, I recently had the pleasure of having the assistance of "Julia's Having A Party" plan a special event for an member of my family. As we all know there are many different parts that come along with planning an event. "Julia's Having A party" made every aspect of planning simple and very easy. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, the recommendations of decorations could not have been more appropriate. Apart from that, The food was delicious. We had a variety of choices to pick from. All of which had the presentation of a fine dining Resturant. Lastly, As this event was in my home, I was skeptical of the idea of a "party planner" but pleasantly surprised. I got to spend time enjoying my guest worry free. Over all "Julia's Having A party" created not just a wonderful evening but a memorable experience.

Meghan was absolutely fantastic and went beyond my expectations. As a busy professional traveling most weeks, I did not have the time to organize my sisters bridal shower, and pull it off in the way I wanted. Meghan listened to my ideas and created an outline of what was needed. She also provide options for us to create things on our own which saved some money. I think the expectation is normally that planners will do what they can to make the most $$, but she was certainly sensitive to the budget and did an incredible job. I will absolutely be using Meghan for future events. She made it so easy!
