Nick has really been an extraordinary teacher and mentor to our son. Caleb has been playing guitar for 6-7 years, and Nick has taken him on his musical journey from 'twinkle twinkle little star' to Jimmy Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. No matter where Caleb's musical interests have gone ( trying out for 'jazz band', all state, working with a rock band, or solo performances), Nick has helped Caleb develop his skills and confidence with patience and encouragement. Nick communicates really well with parents and students about semester goals ( including aspects of music theory and ear training). We recommend him highly and without reservation!

Jaime is a great teacher, working with him has rekindled my love for guitar. I have been playing for a couple years, but I have never got beyond the basics. Four lessons in and I am progressing quickly. I would recommend Jaime to anyone. He meets you where you're at and works with what you want, while at the same time improving your skills and fundamentals.

Ms. Testa has been teaching my 14 year old daughter, Madeline, for the last year now and she loves it! I have seen so much improvement in her voice and confidence both on and off the stage. Ms. Testa is always a patient, yet firm teacher who comes up with creative and fun ways to instruct Madeline in theory, vocal improvisation, and musical expression. Madeline always enjoys going to her lessons and is even more excited to show what she has learned to our relatives. Ms. Testa has even spent extra time with Madeline before auditions for school and community theater (for no extra cost to us). She truly cares about her students and that is why she is such an excellent music teacher. I highly recommend her to everyone in her area!

Jeanne responded quickly to the request, was a very good communicator, and through the first two guitar lessons with my daughter, things seem to be going very well! I greatly appreciate her willingness to travel a fair distance to come to our home and conduct the guitar lessons. Highly recommended!

I've been a happy student of Russell's for over 2 years now. I began knowing rudimentary chords and not much more. With his guidance, I now have a growing repertoire and am at the point where my family actually enjoys listening to me play! He has a great ability to teach the style of of music that's most motivating to me, so I leave every lesson enthusiastic about the week of practice ahead. Russell is a passionate and accomplished musician, but also an extremely effective teacher. Whether you're 8 or 58, I strongly recommend you give him a try! David Fischer

I've had multiple sessions with Josh. He's extremely knowledge about Ableton and music theory in general. Since starting my lessons I've learned how to master my tracks and many different techniques to help make my tracks sound more unique.

I’ve studied voice for close to a decade (both privately and as part of my college major) and Cristina’s teaching has made singing easier than it’s ever been. Even though I’ve only been working with her for a couple of months, I no longer fear if I’ll hit a note because I know how to support it and have confidence in that. On top of that, Cristina puts so much effort into our lessons, and wants you to grow not only as a singer but as a well-rounded musician with a good ear and knowledge of music theory. She’s really a wonderful instructor and such a pleasure to work with!

What an excellent teacher--I am an adult voice student and I have learned a lot. Her comments are very helpful and respectfully given. Plus I have learned wonderful music and have enjoyed the lessons immensely. Lenae is the accompanist for two groups I sing with: the Broad Cove Chorale and the Unicorn Singers in Hingham MA What a demon pianist and organist--and singer who can fill in whenever and wherever she's needed Nothing she can't do! Bengisu is the vocal instructor for my son Wilson and she is helping me with music theory. The 2 hour period we spend with her every week is something my little boy, who is 7 years old, is looking forward. She knows how to set the tone with Wilson and me. Her attitude to Wilson is very playful and she makes him admire music more and more. The fact that we are working on theory and Bengisu showing me the connection between math and music theory fascinates me every time. She prepares little cue cards for me and she always sends the recording of each class with Wilson. She also sends some exercises for Wilson as video so he can watch and learn.

Grey is amazing. I am a university lecturer and appreciate someone who teaches with a rigorous and practical method. Grey not only is an accomplished musician, he knows music theory well and is able to combine theory and practice in a series of effective fun lessons such that I was able to have fun learning guitar while building a solid grounding. He is not just another guitar instructor, I really appreciate his dedication in teaching and bringing the art of guitar playing to the world through his book and lessons. Hope you will enjoy him as much as I did.

Evan is a fantastic music teacher! I took guitar lessons from him for a year, and was always impressed by his tailored approach to his students, his own playing ability, and his knowledge of music theory. Plus, the lessons were fun and introduced the basics of guitar in a fresh, memorable way. Highly recommended.

Alan was my first and only guitar teacher. He went above and beyond to help me to not only learn guitar, but learn music theory, work on writing music, and overall prepared me to be a collegiate music student and a working musician. Alan found out my goals right off the bat and catered our weekly lessons toward them. He provided encouragement and helpful feedback. He fostered my love for music, guitar, singing, and songwriting. Alan's music lessons helped shape me into the musician I am today.

David has been teaching me guitar for a little over a month now. I have already seen great advances in my technique, rhythm, and understanding of music. I have been playing guitar for 9 years off and on, and I have never had professional lessons. I can say that after a month with David, I am playing better than I ever have and believe that my guitar playing skills will continue to progress rapidly with David's help. His teaching technique is very casual and fun, almost conversational, and his insights are spot on. He is exactly what I hoped for in an instructor when I started looking at guitar lessons and I would highly recommend him for anyone who loves guitar, regardless of their skill level. He is a 'must hire' professional!

I have three guitar lessons with Evan and he has already given me so much great stuff to work on! I had been teaching myself for about six months, but Evan has done so much more for me and shown me so many ways to improve. I am really looking forward to continuing learning from him.

My son took beginner piano lessons from Fiona last year. He is a very sensitive boy and was nervous about learning an instrument for the first time, but Fiona put him at ease right away. She has a sweet and earnest teaching style, and explains new concepts in a way that's welcoming and easy to understand. I know her willingness to teach him whatever music he wanted to learn went a long way towards keeping his attention on the piano and away from the iPad. We always looked forward to our lessons with her!

Great teacher that makes learning fun and easy to understand for players of all levels. I've been playing guitar for 20+ years. I decided to take guitar lessons (again) to ramp up my guitar playing and music theory knowledge. Rob has helped (and continues to help) me get to that "next level". - Pat D
