Don is a great teacher. He's always very upbeat and easygoing, but he also knows a lot. He's got two pianos and will play along with you which is a blast. He also has thought about his teaching and organizes lessons carefully. His prices are reasonable, so if you like playing the piano---GO FOR IT.

Junling is my second piano teacher and I have been taken piano lessons with her for around a year now. She is definitely very knowledgable in music and a great virtuoso pianist. I like how she tailored the class based on the student's music level and provide very constructive suggestions on the technical pieces and musical pieces to work on. She is capable of capturing every subtle details in music pieces and present you with a perfect demo. She is fun to talk to and easy to make friend with. It doesn't matter that if you are a beginner or a very high level amateur piano player, I believe you can learn a tons from her great teaching!

If you're wondering if you should give Andrew Celentano a try -- the answer is yes! I had one session with Andrew, who I met through Thumbtack. I found him to be very responsive, friendly and easy to set up an appointment with. His style is ideal for people who are returning to piano after a hiatus, or people who already have pieces they have chosen and wish to practice. He will support you in your objectives and offer guidance based on the many teachers he himself has had. Piano lessons can, in fact, be fun!

She is enthusiastic, patient, and is always interested in what I am learning from her. She always gives me time to ask questions on anything she is teaching to me. I have learned more from her in the past 3 weeks, since we started, than I have learned from any other teacher in several years.
