Justice Gladys is a one woman army. If you want you wedding day to be special look no more. When we requested her to offciate our wedding she helped us with the venue and the food, She even sat with us for to customize the ceremony according to our story. We are from India and she was so creative that she very subtly did a fusion of Hindu and Christian marriage which each and every guest applauded as well. I am very happy and blessed that I chose Gladys to do the wedding and I am sure she is the Best :)

Jennifer was very pleasant to work with during my baby shower. She responded very quick to all of my questions. My shower was held at the Hilton in Danvers ma, where Jen worked with my mom by taking the stress off my moms back so mom could enjoy herself. The center pieces were done so tastefully that I still get complements on. I would recommend Jen to anyone who wants to plan an event that is stress free. Jennifer truly goes above and beyond and it shows in her work.

John and his team were very professional!! They performed duties beyond their scope because my event planner wasn't doing her job. They all-in-all were instrumental at making sure my guests, myself and husband were well taken care of, from bringing water and a platter of food out to us when pictures were being taken, communicating with our DJ in a professional manner which in turn prompted my DJ to make a public announcement on how spectacular J & L Catering was. If I hadn't mentioned, the food was fantastic. I had great reviews from my family and friends for days/weeks. I would whole heartedly recommend John of J & L Caterers for all weddings.

Belle was amazing! As an event planner, I had turned to Belle to help me bring my client's vision to a reality and she came through 100%! She listened to my needs and offered her expertise and together came up with a great design. ThinkingPhones Networks I started in the HR Department at Thinkingphones networks and was immediately given the task to plan the company summer outing. I thought "Piece of cake." My work load on top organizing this event became extremely stressful. I began to search the web for a local event planners and stumbled upon S.Y.B Event Planning Services where I met Soraya who was a lifesaver. Working with Soraya was amazing! I told her my sad story and she made magic happen. She stayed on budget, was very professional, and had a great attitude which is key. The food, the DJ, the venue and the team building exercise were the best. There was so much laughter and positive energy in the air. The summer outing was a huge success!!!! Gigi was very nice and easy to do business with. There was a lot of communication before the event and she was very patient with me. The bouncy house was the hit of the night and all the kids loved it. The table setups were very nice and clean. Kids also enjoyed their face painting and balloon twisting service. Heidi was fantastic! I picked three entrees to taste prior to my event, planning on picking two of them to serve to my guests. All three were so good, I ended up ordering them all! I also ordered some appetizers that were delicious! Heidi was extremely helpful in helping me to plan the entire menu, have the food ready at a convenient time for me, loan me serving dishes, and give detailed warming instructions. I will certainly be using her again!

I work for a large apartment community. We decided, very last minute, to host a catered BBQ for our residents and were scrambling to find a caterer with about 2 weeks to pull everything together. I managed to find Lori on Thumbtack and she was immediately very responsive and professional. She set up a great menu for our residents and gave us an unbeatable price. The day of the event, there was a little miscommunication on what time we were to start (this is why I did not check punctuality, I wanted to be honest, but also emphasize that it was a misunderstanding and not just her staff showing up late). Her staff got here with less time than planned to set up and start cooking and they FLEW getting everything set up and ready to go. In the end, we were only behind by about half an hour and no one seemed to really notice or mind. The food was delicious, very high quality, and her staff was amazing, very efficient, kind and professional. I cannot say enough good things about this experience and would highly recommend Lori for any sort of catering event. She knows how to take care of her customers! Thank you so much Lori for making this a memorable event for our community! If we do decide to cater another event in the future, we are definitely coming back to you!

I wish I could choose more options because John did a fantastic job at our party. The photo booth was a hit with everyone! I’m sorry to say I forgot the woman’s name who was helping John but she was great interacting and engaging people into the event. I will definitely look to use TPF in the future! I would highly recommend Cathy. This was my 1st time using an event planner and she has now spoiled me. I will never plan these type of events on my own again, and will only use her! My daughter was beyond thrilled with how she put together her Sweet 16, and my daughter is extremely hard to please. She delivered on everything we discussed and more. People from the venue where we held this party were peaking their heads in to admire the work she did setting up. Kelly did the day of coordination for my wedding, and all the pre-work to prepare for the day. She helped find additional staff, suggest vendors, and essentially anything I asked of her. Kelly was truly amazing and saved my wedding in so many ways! From the moment I hired Kelly, she gave me peace of mind and assurance that everything will be perfect. There is a lot of effort and coordination that goes into making a wedding, Kelly was right there with me along the way. As somebody who has orchestrated many events, she gave thoughtful suggestions to ensure my event was planned perfectly. She was always in contact, answered all my emails promptly, and calmed every worry and question I had prior to my wedding. She went over my plan and wishes in great detail to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything. The day of she was a wedding saver. I got everything I planned executed as requested and the event ran without any issues (at least none I was award of), Kelly did that great of a job. I spent my wedding day dancing, enjoying the wedding I dreamed of, and visiting my family and friends, while Kelly worked extremely hard to ensure everything went as planned. She did an outstanding job and my wedding day was beyond my expectations. Thank you Kelly for everything that you did and all the things I don't know about, you were truly one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning!

Nimra helped me not only decorate my brother's reception, but she also made sure that she was there for each and every planning step. I was showering her with photos and ideas from the Pinterest, and she was kind enough to stay in touch witg me throughout the time period. She designed exactly the same centrepieces for the guest tables as I showed her in a photo. The backdrop designs were also brilliant and our event was a huge success. She also provided complimentary services. I'd definitely recommend her for your event planning and decoration. I am so glad I did not go to the planners who were ready to do my work much cheap because that is the difference between professional event planner and low budget event planners.

Everyone needs the Professional Maid of Honor at their wedding or event! Katelynn took initiative in so many ways before and on the day of my wedding. Leading up to the event, Katelynn was a great listener. She heard and understood what I envisioned for the day when other people didn't, she helped me think thorough back up plans in case of rain, and when the day came she coordinated everything seamlessly. It's true what everyone says, your wedding day flys by! Having Katelynn there allowed my husband and I to spend more time chatting with our guests. While we were enjoying ourselves, Katelynn made sure the day flowed as planned. She started the transition from cocktail hour to dinner, made sure our speakers were ready to give their toasts, transitioned us into the dance hall after dinner, and so much more. One thing that stood out to me the most while working with Daphne was her perfessionalism, It’s always great to work with someone who is about their Business and their goal is to make their clients happy and you will definitely get that by working with her. We hired Sweetly Designed Events for our wedding back in September 2016. We had a very large wedding with over 250 guests and really needed help with design and day of coordinating. The owner Amanda really helped us with all the details and meet with us several times before the wedding to help us with the process. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything.

We had the great pleasure of asking Meredith to plan our first Baby Shower. As we were out of state transplants as the husband/father i got tagged to coordinate. In typical fashion I reached out to someone with Expertise, Meredith. Talk about a god send, she managed all aspect for us, Location, Invitations, menu. It was the hit of the town event and have had our friend years after still talk about it! I entrusted Meredith with everything and she did not disappoint. What does a wedding event coordinator do?

Pulling off a large, complex wedding or an elegant, small affair requires juggling myriad details, including the officiant, food, drink, wedding cake, entertainment, transportation, rehearsal dinner, photography, equipment rentals, venue reservations and more. A wedding event coordinator can help you keep track of these details, overseeing the planning process and managing everything on the day of your wedding. Each wedding coordinator (and wedding) is different, but in general you can expect an event coordinator to:

  • Help you devise a realistic wedding budget and hold your vendors to it.
  • Map out a master plan that includes all of the details including ceremony music, favors, the guest book and more.
  • Suggest ceremony and reception locations that fit your wedding size, budget and vision.   
  • Suggest florists, photographers, bands, caterers and other vendors that fit your budget.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts for the best deals.
  • Create a timeline for the day of the wedding that includes each vendor and member of your wedding party.
  • Mail invitations and track RSVPs.
  • Answer questions about wedding etiquette and current wedding trends.
  • Manage the wedding day from supervising vendors and setup to handling last-minute emergencies.

How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place. Also, extra details, such as managing food trucks or setting up snacks in addition to the meal, will increase the cost.

What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

  • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
  • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
  • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
  • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

Do you have a portfolio? Ask to see photos of their favorite weddings, especially if they’ve managed any that are similar to what you have in mind. This will help you see if you like their style and if their ideas seem fresh and creative.

Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

  • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
  • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
  • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
  • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.   
  • Checking floor plans, lighting levels, cake placement, menus, favors and more.
  • Collecting the wedding gifts and keeping personal items safe and accounted for.
