It has been almost 6 months and counting since I started working with Ross as my trainer and I am still just as enthusiastic about my workouts and working with Ross. I am a 41 year old, working mother of two and I have not been in this good of shape since I was on the swim team in high school. I have worked with four different trainers over the past two years now and Ross is by far the best. When I started with Ross, I didn't have any specific goals or even a strong drive to make any major changes, but he subtly helped me develop goals and before I even knew it, I was suddenly super motivated to accomplish them! I've gone down 2 sizes and I feel so healthy and strong. He even motivated me to start exercising outside of our training time, which is great! The best part about working with Ross is that he doesn't make it feel like work. He always working different muscle groups and changing up the exercises I do. Every workout there is some new challenge or variation that I haven't tried before. Further, he was able to sense the kinds of exercises I like and don't like and he tailors the workout accordingly, while still being sure to work all muscle groups. He is exceptionally good at reading you during the workout to maximize the benefit from each exercise. Other trainers I have had would say, "Do 10 of this."; Ross tells you to start an exercise and he watches you closely and tells you to stop when you start to fatigue and just before your form starts to falter. This is actually a better way to exercise because it not based on an arbitrary number, but rather works the muscle to it's limit. Ross is great about checking form to make sure that you don't hurt yourself. He is careful not to give someone exercises that they cannot handle yet, or that need perfect form to execute without injury. I've had other trainers push me into lifting heavy weights over my head and I ended up hurting my back multiple times. On a personal note, Ross is a wonderful guy. He is a lot of fun to talk to and that makes the workouts go by so fast! I'm often disappointed when my time is up. So different from a cardio workout where I am counting the minutes until it is over! For anyone wanting to get in shape and feel healthy and strong, I cannot recommend working with Ross enough. I have done all kinds of cardio workouts for years (running, kickboxing, spin, etc) but it wasn't until I started building muscle that I really felt better and noticed a positive difference in my body. I can tell that I have truly changed my metabolism in the past 6 months. Now I look back and wonder why I didn't do this years ago. How could I have let myself get so fat? (Spoiler alert: answer = children) Honestly, in the end it was a pretty easy solution. All it took was a few hours a week, lots of new Lululemon clothes and one amazing trainer!! He has had a direct, very positive impact on my life and I cannot thank him enough!!

Dr. Thorpe met me at my home to go over how he matches clients to trainers. I then scheduled with my trainer and have met with her twice so far. She's fantastic! I was given a yoga stability ball and the rest of the equipment I have at home (elliptical, free weights, a bench) and Ellen (my trainer) creates daily plans for me to do with them. She emails me any notes and whatnot and I'm thrilled!

One day I walked into NSCF with absolutely no idea what to expect. I had never done crossfit before but am heavily into fitness and was looking for the perfect fit. Mark, a NSCF coach, was there and instantly had me hooked on not only the idea of crossfit, but the entire atmosphere and DNA of the Treehouse. I loved how passionate he was and all the knowledge he was able to share with me in my hour trial. I signed up for sessions that day with Mark and had the most educational, fun, challenging experience I've had in a gym! He was always there and still is to help guide me in the right direction. Because of Mark and the treehouse, I'm the strongest I have ever been and have never felt so confident in my fitness journey and life goals!
This fitness coach/trainer is AMAZING!!!! I wish there was more than five stars to rate Angela. She was direct with her instructions and made time to understand my individual needs. Angela also worked every part of my body that concerned me. Lastly, she was able to send me home with workouts that FIT my life as a MOM of two young kids. I have been working with Slava for almost two months and have already notices significant changes in my strength, cardio abilities and my attitude. His workouts are hard, but they have enough variety to keep me interested and he is pleasant to work with. I really appreciate how flexable he is with time, date and locations and this makes is so much easier to meet my weighloss goals. He also keeps in touch with me between work outs to make sure I am staying on top of my diet and exercise between our meetings, which really helps keep me focused. This support goes a long way!
I highly recommend Victoria, not only as a personal trainer but also as a health coach. She was able to help me build strength, increase my flexibily, and introduce me to yoga and the amazing benefits it creates for my body. Every workout we did together was different and exciting. She incorporates boxing, sprinting, and plyometrics. I am a physical therapist and looking for motivation- I got that and MORE from Victoria. Not to mention, her personality is amazing! She is very supportive and positive but she will also push you as hard as you want to be pushed! Love her!
Indivudualized extreme training!!! That is the only way to describe the unique style of boston trainers!!! Although I am a soccer player I was never one who likes to workout. I hated running, hated the treadmill, hated the bike, and hated the elypitical. And once I hit my 30's my lack of fitness began to catch up on me and I became very overweight. Something needed to change and no matter what I was unable to lose weight. Filled with doubt I contacted boston trainers and within a week I was amazed with the results!
