Introduction: With my 4 years of Film and Video education and subsequent 5 years of real world professional video production experience, I strive to provide exceptional service at a reasonable rate. I am personable and flexible to the needs of my clients and work hard to meet and exceed their expectations. From an early age, film and television were a heavy influence on my creative imagination, but it wasn't until my freshman year of high school that I realized creating films and videos was my one true passion. I love to tell stories with my work. Even the simplest of projects can tell a great story and elevate it to another level, even if you might think there wasn't much of a story heading into it. It's rewarding to be entrusted with a project and have it become much more than I or my client envisioned it could be.

Dean was caring, easy to work with, and a consummate professional as he worked with us for our father's memorial service. The angles of shots he was able to capture in the hall and in the sanctuary are just amazing, and his editing choices make the video flow. Picture/audio quality is incredibly clear which is also amazing. He captured so many heartwarming interactions of family and friends throughout the morning. Most of my family didn't even know we had hired a videographer - he was that unobtrusive! He has given my family a treasured gift - a wonderful remembrance of our father, husband, grandfather, friend. Thank you Dean for your hard work and your compassion during our time of mourning.

We had a very specific documentary style of filming in mind for our wedding video and Dean completely nailed it! I typically charge by the hour on small projects and establish an agreed upon rate for more involved, longer projects. Specifics in video services can vary greatly, so I am very flexible to the needs and budgets of customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I establish a clear line of communication with the customer and find out what their expectations are for the project, ensuring to align them with my own expectations so there's no confusion as to how the project is to proceed and no one's time is wasted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema and Digital Arts with a specialty in Directing from Point Park University. I have worked professionally in film and video for 5 years after graduating in 2009.
