Introduction: While attending the Berklee College of Music, I knew that performing music wasn't my only love. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, one which has grown the more I have done it. Early into my studies At Berklee, I declared a dual major in Performance and Music Education. In my Music Ed classes, I was able to develop techniques for teaching all ages, from early childhood to adults, as well as specific techniques for teaching Private Lessons. Since graduating, I have been working professionally as a bassist, guitarist, vocalist and educator. I have taught lessons and given clinics and master classes in several countries, to advanced high school and college level students. I've also found joy in introducing music and the guitar to younger children; music lessons in my own youth helped me bring me to where I am today. I bring to my lessons the experience of a seasoned professional as well as an educated teacher. I find this combination essential whether or not we are working on fundamentals, or advanced subjects. I look forward to getting started. I love music, and believe that everybody's life can be enriched by playing or singing music. Sharing this gift it is important to me, and I try to do so to the best of my ability. When I teach well, I also learn during the process. When I am able to translate a concept, technique or song to a student, and they really absorb it, I expand my perspective on the subject too. It is these moment I seek when teaching. Surely not least of all is seeing a student succeed. This is the really the best part of the work. So let's get to it!
