GF Construction has been designing and remodeling homes since 1989. We are a fully licensed and insured company that works primarily in Massachusetts as well as parts of Connecticut and New Hampshire. In 2000 we began subcontracting for Home Depot Expo until their closing in 2008. We specialize in kitchens and bathrooms, but also do decks, roofs, painting and general construction. My husband and I interviewed four different contractors for the remodeling of our kitchen. Gilson was very professional and easy to talk with. Where this was our first time having a big job done we didn't know what to expect. Gilson and his crew made the transition from gutting the kitchen to finishing the kitchen remodel as smooth as possible All of the people that work for him are exceptional and very professional. We can't say enough about their work ethic and professionalism. We highly recommend GF Construction.

I would like to write this review as I have had an absolutely amazing experience working with Gilson Fouraux (GF Construction). I rarely write reviews however I feel compelled to write this one. I embarked on a quite extensive remodel. I wanted to expand the house foot print by building out from the back of the house. This expansion entailed a completely new open concept kitchen, living room area, addition whereby I extended my master bedroom to encompass a completely new bathroom, laundry room and walk in closet. I also wanted access to my attic, and I wanted higher ceilings in the existing rooms. I interviewed 10 contractors and immediately knew I found the right one in Gilson, he was attentive, asked the right questions gave some very good suggestions that I had not even thought about and generally I got a “good” feeling about him. Ok so we embarked on the remodel, and might I mention I lived through this total gut job with my 2 daughters, mom and mother-in-law. Gilson and his crew tried to make it as comfortable for us to live through as possible; he would close off rooms so we could live in them so as to reduce the dust, he was extremely supportive throughout the entire process. My mother lives downstairs as we have an in-law house. She ended up breaking her hip thus I wanted Gilson to redo her bathroom to accommodate her, needless to say once you start remodeling it is like pulling a thread and you want to start changing so many things. We ended up having to redo her entire house (complete gut job). Gilson worked very closely with me to keep the costs down as this was out of scope of my original project. His crew worked fast, efficiently and got my mothers house completed so she could move back in after her rehabilitation (its beautiful by the way). Along the way a lot changed with my remodel (because of me and new ideas I had) Gilson was always accommodating, gave critical suggestions if he thought there was a better way and always worked very collaboratively with me to realize my vision. My house and my mothers ended up to be absolutely beautiful much better than I could have ever imagined. I can’t believe it is even the same house and it is due to Gilson’s attention to detail, craftsmanship and good old fashion know how. Gilson is one of the most honest, trustworthy, kind people I have ever met (contractor or not). I have recommended him to all my friends and family. I tell them I will never have anyone else touch my house. I have already asked him to do more projects for me!!!

I have had a great experience working with Gilson. My bathroom was completely remodeled and Gilson was very responsive and easy to work with. What was particularly important to me was that I hired someone that would handle all aspects of the renovation, and Gilson and his team did just that. He helped guide my decisions and provided the necessary expertise I was looking for. I would certainly hire him again for a future project.

GF Construction uses high quality products and paints. Gilson made sure to get our opinion at every step of the project. He gave us many options for design and we are very happy with the quality of the finished project. At our request, they came back after the final payment to touch up some details.

I had a great experience with GF Construction! I would definitely hire GF Construction again! I had my bathroom remodeled - My bathroom is beautiful! I have received lots of compliments on how good it looks - a dramatic change from how it looked before. It came out better than I expected. Gilson had great, creative ideas and he even helped me to pick out the tiles. He is very easy to work with. His team is very polite and professional. He even had a cleaning crew come into clean my house after the work was done. I highly recommend GF Construction!
