Bates Wilder is an amazing acting coach. He goes beyond the realm of acting and reteaches you aspects of living. I came to Bates to learn the basics of acting. I was not aware or prepared for what was ahead of me. He taught me how to live, and how to convey a story through my actions. Not only is he an amazing individual, he is an outstanding acting coach. His love for acting is evident throughout his teaching. I am honored to say that I am a student of Bates Wilder.
Tim taught acting at a school in LA and I was brought in to design the set for their production of Guys and Dolls. The kids had a ball and it was inspiring for an old show biz cynic to see that kind of enthusiasm and joy. I believe Tim was largely responsible for instilling that in those kids.
My son has taken piano lessons with Rachel for about a year. He had never played the piano before and Rachel made the lessons fun while still so productive. He has learned so much in the past year and really enjoys playing the piano now. From our first meeting Rachel has been professional and kind and has a great way with kids. I would recommend her to anyone interested in quality piano lessons in a stress free environment where your child can really thrive.
Jeff is a pleasure to work with. Each time I finish a lesson, I feel immense improvement and accomplishment. You can count on Jeff to describe a concept in a way that is understandable and easy to apply. He is extremely knowledgeable, and he is also an entertaining person to be with and talk with.
We hired Dani to give private voice lessons to our daughter for a short time to prepare her for a community theater audition. she is a talented and compassionate teacher with a skill for freeing and finessing the natural voice. highly recommended!!
I took piano lessons with Mary. She is a wonderful and professional teacher. I would highly recommend New England Music Studio - Great learning experience and a lot of fun
One of the best decisions I made was to bring my 9 year old daughter in to start voice lessons with Holly. Over the past four year I have seen her work harder for Holly than she probably does for any other activity she is part of. Her voice has grown stronger, her range had grown bigger, her stage presence has changed dramatically (and is still getting better) and her confidence has soared. Holly does not take her teaching lightly. She works hard and expects her students to work just as hard. She also takes a vested interest (and definite pride) in the success and growth of each of her students.
Maire is an amazing vocal instructor! She's very knowledgeable about the singing process and knows how to teach it in a way that anyone can understand and be able to find their voice. I enjoyed my weekly lessons with Maire, these times were my sort of getaway from the hassles and stress of life and just sing. Lessons with her were confidence boosters for me as she was so encouraging, helped me to be more confident in my voice and it even spread to confidence in myself. She has an amazing personality and it shows in her lessons how passionate she is about others and music. I'm grateful for my time as her student and glad to have her as a friend. I can't thank her enough!
I've worked with Sondra for three years as my voice teacher and she has changed my life. I am singing at a professional level like I never thought possible. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I am a singing machine. I started in 6th grade, and it was amazing. I helped some of my friends and some of my friends' friends. They loved it.
There is nothing in the world like seeing a young artist learn something new about their talent. They visibly grow in confidence and are ready to see what else they can learn. Those moments make all their hard work worth it to them, and is the reason I love training.
I have been acting my whole life. I have not taught professionally but have coached my friends and have been a professional dancer for 26 years.
