Very excited to begin learning our wedding dance!
Ian has been teaching our 7-8 year old private tap lessons for the last year. Our favorite thing about it is that Ian's talent really gives us the sense of infinite growth potential, but he still meets William at just the right level for that particular moment. Ian is very in tune with his students, and can adapt his style and curriculum until he gets the best response from his students. We also like that he is teaching some of the underlying music theory and history of tap, which William certainly wouldn't get in his normal dance classes. Ian makes a point to welcome us at every one of the Subject:Matter performances that we've gone to, which has made the whole family feel plugged into the larger Boston tap community. Ian has been easy to coordinate with and reliable, and we are looking forward to continuing to work with him!
I have used Chavi for private yoga lessons for almost a year now. She is deeply knowledgeable about all aspects of yoga, its history and its application for addressing the total self, not just the body. She has a very strict focus on form to assure maximum sage effect. She is very busy, so plan ahead and be regular.
Lauren’s exquisite dance talent is, as her teaching skills, exceptional. Fortunate to have had the unique opportunity to have been under Lauren’s tutelage because she engages & listens well to your goals, shapes a student to achieve those goals while simultaneously adjusting ones potential to an ever higher level, with what seems an effortless perpetual instruction… & that’s because Lauren is in constant concentration of her student’s development. I’m a much better amateur dancer as a result of Lauren’s beautiful gift & generous ability to move a student further, learn, & enjoy the results. Absolutely, sincerely, Ron Dean Dir. of Photography
