Introduction: We teach Social and Ballroom Dance to the Springfield MA and surrounding areas. We have taught in this same location since 1980. We are proud to say that are students are very successful in learning to dance with their significant other and / or with anyone in any situation, as well as our single students. Our teachers are well educated and are able to adapt to all abilities and personalities. Making new students feel comfortable on their first few lessons is very important to us. It is human nature to feel a little intimidated or self-conscious in any new social setting so we address that immediately. Our studio is warm and welcoming and our years of experience makes us the leaders in teaching "The Best" Social and Ballroom Dance in the area. Watching people develop the Knowledge of Dance which in turn gives them the Confidence on any Dance floor with anyone , anywhere. The rewards are somewhat of a parent who watches as their Knowledge and Confidence grows and the smiles on their faces show the Joy it brings them. We just do not know how to evaluate the worth of that feeling. However, it is Wonderfully Rewarding as a Teacher.

I received a quote from them for wedding dance lessons and called for more information about the package. I was spoken to like a child, in an incredibly condescending tone, and as a result I would never pursue taking dance lessons with this company. That's not a way to get someone to give you their business! Awful experience!

I am terribly sorry if I came across as you stated , Meghan F. My only intention was to be as thorough as possible in the shortest time possible. If I recall correctly, there was not a lot of time before the wedding, and as an experienced professional in these matters, I felt if I was not truly honest about the difficulty involved because of time limitations, I would have been doing you a worse service because it might sound misleading. I guess if you misinterpreted my intentions I will once again apologize. I pray it all worked out wonderfully for you at the reception regardless of how this unfortunate conversation may have come across. Best wishes for a very Happy Marriage.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a Introductory Special program. They call if interested and we schedule their first visit. What happens from there is entirely up to them. Options are presented with absolutely no obligation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught dance since 1970 with the Arthur Murray System of teachingwhich already had over 50 years of knowledge and experience. I accomplished 10 Standards of dance and was also was Certified as an Official World Dance Teachers Association and Adjuticator (Judge). I taught for 10 years in the Hartford, Ct studio and opened in 1980 in this location. I have trained and coached teachers from all over New England for many years. we became an Independent studio in 2012 and are very proud of our teachers and students. Our Honesty, Sincerity, Credibility, Fairness, Courtesty, Loyalty and Experience are what we truly feel makes us the best studio in the Springfield, MA area to learn from.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Applied for training, was very dedicated , worked very hard to learn everything necessary to become the best teacher and coach. The rest is history.
