FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I am a member of the Voice and Speech Trainer's Association, the National Association of Teachers of Singing, as well as a Level III certified Somatic Voicework teacher. I also am a Level 1 teacher with the Institute for Vocal Advancement and continue to attend conferences and educational opportunities to grow as a teacher. Currently I am pursuing a certification in Ultimate Music Theory. This training will prepare me to teach music theory to all levels of student, beginner to advanced. I am really excited to teach these new courses, and will be offering them in semester packages soon!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents were so supportive of my musical endeavors throughout my entire life. I was also lucky to have teachers along the way that helped me to become the human being that I am today. I work with every student to pay back the debt of gratitude that I have to my parents and the teachers that have taught me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with clients on the technical aspects of their voices, helping them build and strengthen the coordination of their voices so that they can sing in a variety of styles. I also do vocal coaching and repertoire selection for students and actors looking for audition material that is not on the DO NOT SING or OVERDONE lists.
