Brad kept lines of communication open, from the bidding to the final delivery. My questions and concerns were answered honestly and quickly. The outdoor work happened in between our snow, so it took slightly, but understandably, longer than expected. However, the garden looks so much tidier and easier to maintain. My neighbor even commented it should be featured in a magazine. :)

Nothing but good things to say about Balco Landscapes! I had just completed two projects with separate big name contractors and the experiences were both horrible. Had I not been on home on several occasions, the work these other contractors did would have been done wrong and not to spec. So I was a bit uneasy when I realized that due to my work schedule, I would not be home for the entirety of the landscaping project with Balco. But, Balco Landscapes showed up every day, on time, and did the work they quoted. The work itself is stunning! The installed 2 flagstone patios over concrete base, a separate stacked stone retaining wall, and landscaped a garden bed horribly overgrown with weeds and planted agreed upon plants. Also planted a dogwood in the very back of the yard. Balco also pulled the necessary permits from Baltimore City (which in itself is no easy task). They quoted 2 weeks to complete the project and they finished in 1 week and 3 days. Harry and his team were nothing but courteous and professional from the moment they showed up in person to discuss design and requirements, through to the project's completion. The morning after the day in which it looked as though everything had been completed, I spoke directly with Harry to make sure they were done so I could finalize payment. Indeed they were... but Harry was already on his way to my house to shore up a joint line in one of the patios that "he wasn't happy with." I didn't ask him to do it... i didn't even recognize what he was talking about... but he came out on his own to take care of it. That is owning your workmanship. And that is respect for the homeowner. This is how working with contractors should always be!! They are already my decided choice for some additional work I'll have done in a few months. If you have landscaping needs, you'll be in good hands with Balco! A+ across the board.

Mr. Montoya did a wonderful job on my garden and is currently performing mowing/landscaping duties for myself and my immediate next door neighbor. Very happy with the job.

Green Art was amazing! Francisco was on time, professional, friendly, and did incredible work. The hostas that he originally planted were not growing, and he came back and replaced them at 7pm one evening. We will be using him for ALL of our landscaping!

Damion came out and met several times to understand the project. I have some of the worst, compacted soil possible. They had to remove soil, bring in soil, soil amenders and mulch. We agreed on a basic design and some property clean-up. The crew arrived on time, worked steadily and were courteous and professional. Damion was on-site as well, and has a supervisor present when he has to be away momentarily. We had agreed on the types of plants to purchase, and he made all the selections. I know a lot about gardening, and can say that he used a highly reputable nursery and bought beautiful specimens for my project. When time to plant, I watched as they placed the plants around the beds. I went outside to evaluate his "aesthetic," and found that I would not have changed the placement in any way. It was remarkable to me. He really loves this work and has considerable talent and an eye for it. The entire process, including yard clean-up, digging out some 30 year-old spreaders (including roots), applying and mixing top-soil and amenders, installing plants and mulching beds and laying a bluestone pathway was accomplished in 3 full work days. All yard waste was removed to a recycling dumpster on site. The end result has changed the entire appearance and curb appeal of my home. All the neighbors have complimented the work. Many have asked for Damion's card for work of their own, including the postman. The pricing was broken down into segments, each of which was reasonable to me. I do offer my highest recommendation for Releaf Landscaping. We are about to commence the backyard work in the near future!
