Chef Brett came into my home and blew my wife and I away with his cooking abilities, humbleness and Professionalism. It was our first time having a chef cook for us in our home and I tell you right now the wife and I are already planning a dinner party for chef Brett to come back. A very nice young man.

I plan and host high-profile guests at our farm in Mt. Shasta, California. These are the type of clients that could hurt a brand if they had a bad experience and chose to publicize it. Chef Brett is a the top of my call list when I'm staffing for these events. He's hard-working, and imaginative when it comes to meal-planning. We grow vegetables and fruits that vary in their availability. Chef Brett takes a walk through our garden and greenhouse, the jots down a few notes, and he's whipping up a delicious salad, or a stone-fruit compote dessert with fennel pollen. Chef Brett is the consummate planner. Before the knives come out, or the first ingredient is chopped, he comes prepared to practice his craft with notebook in hand. Ready to adapt to dietary restrictions, or satisfy the curiosities of our guests - beef hearts, and organ meats - Chef Brett delivers high-quality cuisine. Most of our meals feature a protein -- beef, lamb, or chicken. And these are cooked over open fire. And Chef Brett's marinades, brines, are all top-notch.

He is not professional. He agreed to help with private dinner for my wife's birthday. He set his price and also asked for 25% down which I did. Two days before the occasion, I messaged him to remind him as well to let me know his plan. Few minutes later I got an alert for refund for the deposit. He later send me a message about the refund with no reasonable explanation why he canceled. I booked the appointment over a month ago, he didn't even have the decency of contacting me that he would not be doing it if I didn't contact him yesterday. Tomorrow is my wife's birthday and I have no idea what to do right now. I got no apology from him or nothing.
