Getting singing lessons from Sam has been great. I've been going for 2 months now. And what I like about Sam is that he takes you step by step. He teaches you amazing breathing techniques and how to be confident in yourself. I've learned so much in these 2 months. I really thank him for giving me great tips to reaching those high and low notes. My voice is changing and I can really feel the difference.
Alyssa is very knowledgable about all aspects of vocal technique including the anatomy of what it takes to produce sound. She explains these concepts very well. I believe after only two lessons, I have a much better understanding of proper vocal technique. I truly feel that I will become a better singer as I continue to take lessons from Alyssa.
My teenage daughter has had several lessons with Orla and we have found her to be professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable about mechanics of the voice as instrument. She brings her enthusiasm and warmth to each lesson and my daughter very much enjoys working with her. In the few lessons that they've had so far, we have seen improvement in both voice technique and comfort of performance.
Ann was very friendly and supportive of my desire to seek one-on-one teaching for my acting. I can't wait to get started!
I will recommend RPA for those who are serious in learning violin, piano, drums, acting & modeling, and dancing. The instructors are well trained and the busy is well put together.
I am eternally grateful for my experience with All Things Are Possible LLC. I joined ATAP during its beginning stages and it has been a pleasure to see the business grow by leaps and bounds. As a result of working with ATAP, I have been able to play principal roles in shows such as the Lion King, West Coast Cheetah Tour, and Hairspray on Broadway. Dr. Wyche is one of the best singing and acting coaches around. If you put in the work and attend lessons consistently, you will definitely see results.
I studied voice with Dorothy Miller for over four years, and I loved every lesson I had with her! I began taking voice lessons in eighth grade because I loved musical theater, but I could not sing. I was absolutely tone-deaf and I couldn't even read music. When I first began with Dorothy, she gave me nothing but continuous encouragement and support, teaching me the most basic techniques necessary for singing. As I progressed through the years, I not only overcame my tone-deafness but actually became a good singer. She helped me to expand my range by over an octave, adding notes to the top and bottom of my range. I now have a range of nearly three octaves when I began barely able to sing an octave scale. In addition to voice, Dorothy also helped me prepare for various auditions as well as taught me to read music and some basic music theory. She also has experience with acting, especially with musical theater, so some of my lessons were dedicated specifically to enhancing my acting skills, both with and without music. Over the years, I began to develop a friendship with Dorothy because she really takes time to get to know her students on a personal level and always loves to sit and chat before and after her lessons. She always made me laugh and was very kind. I never left a voice lesson without a smile on my face, and I always looked forward to returning the following week. I loved studying under Dorothy so much that I recommended her to four of my best friends, who also took lessons with her for multiple years. I now am in my second year of college and no longer am able to take lessons with Dorothy anymore. However, I still make it a point to catch up with her whenever I have a break to talk about how my semester has been, and it is like I never left. I would give Dorothy Miller Vocal Studio 10/5 stars if I could because she is absolutely phenomenal, and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. I am very lucky to have been her student, and I wouldn't be where I am today without her.
Aimee was excellent with helping me learn how to project, enunciate, and improve my posture. Though I am not a singer by trade, her lessons were very helpful and encouraging so that I could improve my public presentations and presence at work. Thank you!
Trena is great to work with. She's a wonderful coach who helps you focus on what actions are needed to progress in your chosen career. In this case, I worked with her on preparation for headshots. She has a wonderful process for planning the shoot to get the most out of the time spent on the session.
Anne was able to improve my daughter's vocal abilities and confidence in a very short amount of time we planned. I was also particularly impressed with Anne's understanding of working with children and how to both encourage and inspire them. It became clear to me what a genuinely nice person Anne was, in addition to being a great teacher, something that is very important to me when finding someone to spend time with my children. We look forward to continuing our vocal lessons with Anne and are so happy we found her!
