Angie of Honey Do Planners is the BEST Planner!! I needed help planning my girlfriend's baby shower. I took on the task to plan the shower myself for her because unfortunately all her close family and friends reside out of town. I had no clue what I had gotten myself into. So I decided to make it a full baby shower party with 65 guests. I did a search on Thumbtack and I hired Honey Do. Angie is very professional, understanding and kind. In a nut shell she's awesome! She helped me every step of the way answered all my questions, made herself available when needed, and gave me many options to make the event special. Honey Do knows the ins and outs of planning events. With a beautiful local office and vendors on her team, she created and crafted the event to be awesome. It was better than what I had believed I could have of done on my own. Every detail was talked about and discussed and we developed a great working friendship. I would recommend Honey Do to any and everyone who is looking for a planner. Her cost were fair and reasonable. I had so much fun and I'm very pleased it all came together. I wasn't disappointed nor were the guest or the Guest of Honor. She absolutely loved it!!! Planning my 1st daughter, 1st birthday party. Candice and Denean was extremely professional from the very first encounter. I am known to have anxiety and they made sure everything I wanted was executed. They even did extra just to make sure I was comfortable. I will be using them to plan my next events. Worth every penny to hire these PROS to do their craft!
The communication and hiring process was prompt and professional (way more than I have experienced with competitors in the past) and went smoothly and seamlessly. The bartender and server arrived on time (early actually!!), were professionally dressed and did a very good job throughout the night. The only thing that I could have asked for to give a 5 star rating was for both to be more proactive in their roles. The girls were both great, but I would have loved for them to sort of lead the way - we do not often hire people for our parties and would have loved for them to be more self reliant. That is minor really - I would definitely use Impeccable Occasions again and would recommend to friends!
Mary is the perfect wedding coordinator. She is very genuine and very in tune to every detail. My wedding day was stress free because she managed 180 guests and my entire bridal party along with other vendors. She was sensitive to the time and she provided agendas at each meeting. She went the distance at my wedding and truely sacrificed to be at meetings including the wedding rehearsal. I couldn't have ask for anyone better. She was humble, engaged actively, and made decisions for the better. She even provided additional details that could make my ceromony more romantic and meaningful. She ensured everything was in its place for ceromony reception, cocktail reception, and wedding reception. She was everything more than a coordinator and fulfilled my hearts desire. I love her and she has the right heart. She gives back in the lives she connected by celebrating others victories. I'm grateful that I found her she was an answer to a prayer.

Keya was excellent from start to finish! She took the time to come ahead of time to discuss my vision for the party and on the day of, her team really delivered! Her table display and was the center of the party and she really made it look spectacular! Everyone at the party asked about it. She was kind and courteous to everyone she worked with including other vendors. I would definitely recommend Keya for her organization and decorating. I look forward to working with her for future projects!
BMore Fabulous Designs did a WONDERFUL job on my Mother's 60th Birthday Party! The venue was decorated beautifully by Erin and her staff. Everyone in attendance raved about the beautiful decorations. I am very particular and somewhat hard to please (lol) but I was THOROUGHLY impressed and satisfied with the services provided by BMore Fabulous Designs. I would highly recommend Erin and will definitely use her services again for any future celebrations.

Where to begin? At first I was extremely against hiring a day of coordinator as I was convinced I did not need one. I was EXTREMELY wrong! I could now not imagine my wedding without Trina and her team. Trina is extremely organized, easy to communicate with, and thought of details that I would’ve have overlooked but ended up being so important the day of. Trina offered advice, helped me to make decisions, and used her wealth of knowledge to help me visualize that I wanted my wedding to look like. There was not a question that Trina did not know the answer to. Trina and her team were fantastic. Before the wedding she triple checked everything with me and my husband, called and confirmed with all of my vendors, and communicated with other important members of our bridal party about their role. During our rehearsal she clearly communicated expectations for the day of with all of my very large bridal party and helped everyone feel comfortable with their role in the wedding. Everyone was complimenting her and her team’s efforts throughout the night. She and her team were always one step ahead of any potential problems or disasters, intercepted any issues so that I did have to deal with them, and paid close attention to detail. The best part of working with Trina was that I was able to have a worry free evening with my guests and was able to enjoy my wedding. I knew that Trina had everything handled. One of the many reasons why my husband and I decided to hire Trina over other vendors that we interviewed was because of her professionalism, knowledge, and experience. Trina and her team worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure that everything went according to plan. She and her team were constantly present during the night to ensure that we were calm and comfortable, communicate with other vendors, guests, and me to ensure that our day went as planned. She set up the reception space beautifully and wrangled my guests (and groomsmen) to where they were expected to be throughout the day so that we could stick to our proposed timeline. Trina was there to reassure me, hide me and my bridesmaids away from the groomsmen and groom, ensure that our ceremony music and order ran smoothly, and even made sure that the train on my dress was picture perfect before I walked down the aisle. At the end of the night Trina and her team had everything packed away and stored for us to easily transport home. My husband and I were dreading the clean-up process by Trina already had it handled. I cannot communicate how thankful I am that I decided to work with such a wonderful day of coordinator and her team. If you are on the fence or unsure of whether you need a day or coordinator or wedding planner in general, just do it! Trina and her team are phenomenal are our day was seamless because of her and her team’s effort. We would hire her and her team again in a heartbeat and heartily recommend them to anyone in the need of a coordinator. Thank you so much!
Juanita's service and team were excellent. They were on time, and go right to it. I took about 5 min to brief her and her team what I needed and left out some stuff for sure. She was intuitive and knew her stuff. Professional of the entire team was definitely a pleasure. Not knowing anyone here I did most of my work for my party. This was my first time hiring a party planner for my son who is 7. Ms keisha was very sweet and understanding and patient and my sons party turned out fabulous and Affinity One events really made his party magical....and the decor was very creative and just what I wanted and very reasonable my son was sooooo siked when he seen his Superman theme and all the games but his favorite was the cool custom made CANDY BAR (a table full of delicious candy) I will definitely hire Affinity One Events again for my next party....
Devoted to Your Event was hired to decorate The Grove, a restaurant in Upper Marlboro for the Oak Creek Community Annual HOA Adult Holiday party. Ms. Pope was provided with a vision and she made that vision come to life. As an HOA committee, we are responsible to put on wonderful events as well as show fiscal responsibility for 800+ home community. Ms. Pope's services allowed us to have a beautiful party and stay within our respective budget. Ms. Pope and her staff were timely, kind to all they encountered, hard working and diligently transformed the area from a regular restaurant to a lavish posh club-like atmosphere perfect for adults. Ms. Pope provided us with holiday lighting, holiday foyer decor, ceiling swags, tablescapes, red carpet upon entrance and much more. She also provided us with additional vendors (i.e, photography) that complimented the night The social committee of Oak Creek highly recommends the services of Ms. Pope and plan to utilize her services at an upcoming event in the new year.
Everything was covered from beginning to end. Very resourceful and creative. Things I would have never thought about - she covered. She did a birthday party for my mother. The guest had such a good time, and my mother was so pleased. It was Awesome! I would definitely recommend The Detailed Diva.
