Dj Greg met us and assured us that he would be there and meet all of our needs and he did just that. We had 240 guest and he kept them on the floor the entire night. It's amazing how everything worked out. Donna and her balloon animals were the hit of our library's afternoon fun fest! She arrived early, was set up promptly and performed beyond the close of the event in order to "fill all her orders." Well organized, she ensured that every child received their requested balloon creation without standing in line "forever". Her pleasant fun demeanor was enjoyed by young and old alike Since this was a "first time" event and we could only guess at the number of attendees, she came prepared to also do face painting if necessary. However, we were overwhelmed with youngsters so she worked her magic on balloon animals for 100+ children in two hours! She is amazing! She provided lots of inputs toward the planning, coordinated my wedding rehearsal, introduced me to some very talented and reasonably priced vendors (seamstress and florist) who both did an excellent job with my wedding dress alterations and my wedding flowers. Julie was an absolutely cherished hit at my grand-daughter's 5th birthday celebration. Julie is not only delightful with children but really engaging with adult guests. My daughter hired a face painter who had great talent but very poor professionalism and terrible rapport with guests. She actually made 2 children cry!!! Working with Brittany on our All Night Grad Party was a wonderful experience. She was so prompt in all our communications whether via text or phone calls. She jumped right in with ideas when we shared what we were looking for. She was a lot of fun spending time with her and the folks she had helping her. Her prices were very reasonable. When we moved to Baltimore for a new job opportunity and into our first home as homeowners, we inherited a hodge-podge of old furniture and knock-knacks from our family and friends, none which could be arranged. After getting the run-around from a few other places we found Kate and she went to work right away helping us first find people in the area to help with everything from painting and lighting to re-upholstering antique family furniture. She has helped us make our house a home (instead of a jumbled mess of inherited furniture) with better storage options for our small town house and a beautiful design that was reflective of our tastes. We have gone top to bottom, from creating a media space for my boyfriend in the basement to helping create kitchen organization, dining and entertaining spaces that included our inherited furniture, to an at home office conducive to helping me be more productive at home. She is professional, flexible to our schedule (which was a huge necessity with the taxing nature of my job as a resident physician), and very respectful of our budget requirements. She has gone as fast or as slow as our budget has allowed through it all. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with on this adventure in our first home! Walida of A Royal Affair was top notch, she communicated very well, rolled with the punches when we had to make a change along the way, and was one time with delivery. The balloons were EXACTLY as I had dreamed they would be and I got more compliments on the balloons than on the cake!! I came into planning my wedding with what I thought was a solid idea of what I liked, and she heard me completely, but everything Kate suggested in addition was just beautiful.
