I've been out of shape for quite some time... I wanted to get in shape, but always felt insecure walking into gyms. Decided to try out a personal trainer and came across Svetness Fitness and Nutrition. I've only been training for a month and already feel so much better about my well being! Everyone wants to read that Rob gets results, and yes that is absolutely true so let's start there. And he ensures everyone gets noticeable results very quickly. Beyond being an excellent results-driven trainer, Rob is very low-stress, focused on health, and keeps a positive attitude with his clients. I also enjoy working with his group fitness classes as he takes pride in working with NORMAL PEOPLE and gives them reasonable goals step-by-step until reaching an optimal fitness goal - which is how he keeps his clients long term and instills a drive to JUST KEEP GOING! Rob is easy to work with so there is no quitting attitude because it was way too much to handle (or too little) - he truly finds a perfect balance for every workout. My personal results with Rob was from very out of shape to very in-shape in 6 months time - with about 40 pounds lost (and dropped about half of that in the first 6-8 weeks - and I'm not much of a dieter). Rob is also very, very reasonably priced and not greedy - despite being in an industry where he could very easily charge a lot more for what he does. I would not work with any other trainer and I whole-heartedly recommend him to everyone. I never had a thought about working with a trainer until Rob approached me on a treadmill in 2009. Thanks, Rob, for 6 awesome years now!
I like to think I know when I'm doing when it comes to weight loss as I've lost over 275 pounds over three years. Then I hit a very frustrating eight month plateau and decided I needed help. That's when I met Agnese and employed her to get me back on track. I complain a lot when working out with her but I have now lost weight seven straight weeks and counting. Training with Jenise (BodyByJenise) has changed my life for the better! From the past two months I've worked out with her, I've definitely seen a huge difference in my body, eating habits, and overall energy. I use to workout in college but never remained consistent. I ended up gaining a lot of weight when I got out of college and never lost it. I seeked out services on thumbtack and received quite a few offers but decided to work with Jenise based on her experience, passion, and personal experience with weight loss and assisting clients. Boy, am I happy that I did! From my very first interaction with her, I knew she would be able to whip me into shape. I was already motivated when she walked into the gym (her body was stunning!) Anthony has been working with my high schooler on strength and agility training and is AWESOME. He's encouraging while remaining tough, and is laser focused the whole time. I'd highly recommend him.
Gary helped develop a training regimen that accommodated my past injuries and pushed me to a attain a higher level of fitness. Through our sessions, I have reached my weight loss goal and gained strength and flexibility. I have enjoyed our conversations during weekly sessions, as he makes it more enjoyable to exercise. Gary is on time and always prepared with a good attitude each week.
Kevin does a great job with our group training. He's comfortable with training a group of various abilities. He puts a lot of thought into the workout is very good at providing alternatives for each exercise. Pushes us without being pushy!
There is so much to say about Let's Go Fitness gym. It's clean, professional, with experienced trainers. It really feels like a family. Omg, my personal trainer Stacy is the BEST!! She motivates, encourages and is my biggest fan. She is one tough cookie when it comes to whipping you into shape but is always pleasant.
Working with Corey has been the best investment in myself I have made!! Not only is Corey is professional and easy to work with but she is knowledgeable and very compassionate. I am in the middle of her 6month health coaching program currently and plan to do her online fitness/workout program when she releases it. Her approach is very balanced to both diet and exercise!! When I first met Dimitri over a year ago, I had a long way to go on my fitness journey and was a little bit intimidated about starting a training program. During our first training session I nearly passed out because I was out of shape, and I wasn’t fueling my body the way I needed. Right away Dimitri made me feel reassured that I could, and would, get stronger and better if I put in the work. He took the time to help me set my goals, discuss my likes/dislikes, and from there, created a custom plan for me to reach my goals. The program he designed relies on high-intensity intervals, coupled with strength training and kickboxing. I had never tried kickboxing before, but now it has become my favorite part of our sessions! A few months into our training I injured my ankle and thought I would need to put training on pause. Because of Dimitri’s expert knowledge of kinesiology and his extreme attention to avoiding further injury, I was able to continue on a modified program and make steady progress towards my goals. Not only is Dimitri incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, but also he is encouraging and supportive during every step of the way. He pushes me harder than I ever knew I could push myself, and thanks to him, I have been successful in my fitness journey and boosting my confidence. With his help, I’ve lost over 25 lbs, gained lean muscle and drastically improved my strength and flexibility!

At the start of my training I was very unfamiliar with proper use of equipment and had spent little time in the gym! Personal training was a big step out of my comfort zone as I had never followed a set routine before, Michael alleviated all of my worries and started me from the ground up! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to excercises that beginners can preform, and has developed a program with visible progression and results. Would highly recommend him for his attention to detail and knowledge of nutrition and excercise as well as a fun workout!
I can’t say enough good things about Julian! We definitely hit the jackpot with him and in a very short time, he’s become a great trainer, mentor and role model for my 15 year old son who has wanted to increase his strength/stamina while working on his soccer skills. Julian very quickly responded to my search for a personal trainer and was incredibly professional during our introductory call. It was evident that his knowledge of /experience with soccer as a player and coach would be a good match for my son. He also shared his philosophy about strength training with kids, specifically how he seeks to understand what motivates and is important to them, so he could then weave in his expertise which ultimately would result in a truly customized program to help accomplish their goals. He was eager to “meet” my son and scheduled some time to speak with him personally over the phone and get to know him. I was impressed at how he was able to get from a 15-year old boy, what his fitness goals were! In less than a week of my initial inquiry, my son was training in the gym with Julian and has absolutely loved every session with him. Julian maximizes every second during each workout and even encourages kids to come in early to get warmed up (so really, while you pay for a 60-minute session, you get 70-75 minutes!) My son has already noticed physical changes, but beyond that, his sense of confidence, focus, and dedication has increased tremendously. Julian provides encouragement inside and outside the gym by keeping tabs on my son and checking in on how he’s doing. Even when my son tried out for another soccer team, Julian gave him sound advice throughout the process, acted as a sounding board, and alleviated any anxiety he had. The investment you make in Julian goes far beyond strength training; you also get someone who takes a genuine interest in your well-being and wants you to be successful. He empowers you with exercises which don’t require you to be in a gym (my son did his own workouts during the winter break) and with general “life skills/lessons”. My experience with TakeFlight Fitness was a success! I was skeptical at first about the goals I wanted to achieve and if they would happen within the 7 sessions that I scheduled. But to my surprise, the sessions with Paul helped me to learn about dieting, staying consistent and keeping positivity that you can always achieve any goal you desire. I didn't think I'd be able to gain any muscle mass and weight but I did and I managed to meet my weight goal of 140. Since then, I've been very consistent in maintaining my diet and sticking to my workout routines at home and in the gym. Everyone in my surroundings have also noticed the improvement in my body structure which lets me know that my experience with TakeFlight is recognized. My biggest take away from training with TakeFlight Fitness is that you have to understand it's not an easy job for fitness and there's a lot of scientific background to know how the body works. However, if you seriously want to change your lifestyle for the better, you'll do whatever is possible to reach that goal.
I've been training with Nate several times a week for over 5 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with my progress, fitness level (strength, duration, flexibility), and the ongoing challenge and diversity of workouts -- they're never boring and incorporate strength, stability and core, time under tension, and functional training for every part of my body. In addition, Nate's a nice guy with a great sense of humor, so the workouts are tough but enjoyable. After his initial assessment, he continued to take the time to get know me individually and has a vested interest in my health, well being, strengths, and weaknesses (he enjoys identifying and having me work on my weaknesses!). Nate works hard with each of his clients and he customizes each workout for their individual needs and goals. In the 5+ years I've trained with him, Nate has never been late or missed a workout -- even in snowstorms! When I need to change a training appointment, Nate works very hard to find a time that is mutually beneficial. Finding the right personal trainer that had the proper knowledge, experience, equipment, interpersonal skills, and motivation to align with mine was tough; and I couldn't be happier to have found Nate. My investment in training with him has been more than worth it: I'm in great physical shape, my doctor asks if I've found the fountain of youth, and I've made a good friend in the process.
Ken is extremely diligent & conscientious in his preparation for each training session with me. He literally does homework ahead of time & researches the best exercises & stretchesfor my injuries, such as sciatica & recovery from meniscus tear & surgeryon my left knee. He is also extremely flexible, so, despite his prep, he is able to improvise on the fly ifI am unable to performparticular exercises. He is personable & warm & makes the hour fly by. I used to hate exercising but that is becoming less & less the case working with Ken.
First and foremost I like that Chad truly listens to what my husband and I say. For example, if we mention wanting to work on something or that some body part is having an issue, the next workout he brings in ideas based on research and reading he has done regarding what we mentioned. We learn so much about fitness from Chad and are workouts are tailored to what we have requested and are just the right level of difficulty for us.
