Ms. Carolyn Davidson came to our house for the first lesson and although we have not made up our mind yet, this is not to reflect negatively on her lesson. On the contrary, my daughter loved the lesson and Ms. Davidson but it seems that it would be better for my daughter (and our pockets) that we wait till she is a bit older at which point she will be able to pick on the lessons faster (as per Ms. Davidson's advice). I appreciate her honesty because that means we might not hire her immediately and despite that she gave us her honest evaluation/opinion. I would highly recommend Ms. Davidson based on our first lesson and regardless of our decision, whether we'll start now or two years later, I look forward to seeing her again. Terri.

Carolyn was really lovely my daughter was just not ready for lessons, the trial lesson was very informative, definitely going to try again year!

By the time my 9-yr old left his first 30-minute lesson, Carolyn had shown him how to play two simple songs, a small section of a classical piece, and he was not only using the correct fingers but was also playing with two fingers at once! And she held his attention, which is no small task. Needless to say, I was elated. Up to that point he had been able to play Hot Cross Buns with one finger only. We will definitely be going back!
