I am a senior at American University and first contacted Bill to help me prep for the math portion of the GRE. I experienced a jump of over 10 points on my math portion after working with Bill! Bill is an awesome tutor. He is flexible and quick to respond to changes in my busy schedule. He is also high energy and makes the process exciting! It was apparent during our first lesson that Bill really has a passion for teaching mathematics.
You can't ask for a better tutor than the one we got. We ended up doing in-home tutoring and the tutor was very kind and courteous and knowledgeable.
I wish I found him sooner Nema really enjoys teaching math, in my case calculus. Going into the semester Inn knew that my pre calculus fundamentals was shaky and it showed in my first two test. I posted a ad on Thumbtack, and enthusiastically he replied back. His credentials does not do his knowledge Justice. This guy thinks, eats and breathe mathematics. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to rescue this semester. I plan to continue my study sessions and improve on basic to Advance precalculus fundamentals over the winter break.
Mr. Mougy Ahmed has done wonders as a math tutor for our sophomore son! He has a very agreeable, non-threatening tutoring style, and our son enjoyed working with him right away. Our son was getting D's and C's in Algebra II , even with the assistance of a previous math tutor. Mougy came to our house and immediately recognized where our son was misunderstanding foundational concepts in Algebra II, and worked with him to build up that knowledge base and apply those skills correctly. He has been highly responsive in setting up tutoring sessions, sending additional lessons/exercises via email, and even holding extra sessions in advance of math tests/quizzes. As a direct result of Mougy's tutoring, our son earned a B+ and an A on his last two math tests. We highly recommend him to any student or parent who is searching for tutoring assistance.
Mr. Paul has been tutor my daughter in Math/English/ACT since 2013, he is an outstanding and knowledgeable teacher on variety school subjects and my daughter will continue to work with Mr. Paul until she finish high school. Currently, she is raising 10th grader
Prior to tutoring, two things were holding my daughter back on the SAT- the math section and her confidence. Alex was the perfect tutor to improve both of those areas. He provided clear teaching in math that honed in on the areas where she needed the most help. He was consistently positive and encouraging, helping her believe in herself. This led to her math score jumping 180 points.
Excellent math tutor.
Ms. Erin is a great Reading and Math Tutor!
My daughter said her tutor explains and demonstrates math better then her teacher. I like her passion to see students succeed.
Dr. Mukunda was very patient, knowledgeable and accommodating towards my son. I highly recommend her and would use her again if he takes another math class!
Kendra is extremely reliable and responsive. She has tutored my two sons - one in Trig (he got an A, thanks to her help) and one in Hon. Algebra II/Trig (he is getting an A, thanks to her help). My boys say she makes things very clear and understandable. She has really come through for me in a few binds - even once coming at 615am in the morning to tutor! Can't say enough good things about her. She really does work miracles in the math department. Plus, she is just a super nice and hardworking person.
"Barbara is an extremely effective math tutor. She relates very well to students and she knows the Algebra material inside and out. Her explanations are very clear and helpful. Besides being 100% reliable, she is also a very nice person. "
Andrew Sun To whomever this concerns, Before I signed up with this tutoring program, I was not very good academically. In fact, I was the worst in the toolshed. Knowing that I have no time to lose and my bleak future is upon me, I did what many people think it's best; To join the military. I didn't know what to expect of the navy to be honest, so I was unaware of the test you need to take called the asvab. My heart sank a little. I began searching on the Internet, looking for a tutor (especially on math) until I found out about Theo. Theo is the CEO for student circle and unlike other tutors; he is the only one that stood out. He is understanding, ambitious, and kind, but most importantly he can relate to you, creating a special bond which prompts you to succeed. So I explained to him my situation and he set me up with another tutor by the name of Xin. Right off the bat both of us got along and he helped me through two grueling months. There were times when I wanted to give up, but he was there for me. The funny thing is, he is going through an exam as well during my time with him, so he is the hardest working tutor I have ever came across. I swear, these two do actually care about me because when I took the asvab, I scored high enough to achieve some of the most coveted jobs the navy has to offer! These two will forever be part of my family. Student circle has the best sessions as well as memories. Thank you. Andrew
Andrea is very prompt with reponding quickly! A dedicated professional who i will continue to seek her services. She is definitely the math tutor you want if math is your weakest subject.
He has immense knowledge in current SAT Math curriculum. I like the way he tailors his tutoring program for one on one student tutoring.
I highly recommend Reetika Bhardwaj for any tutoring needs you may have. Reetika tutored my granddaughter in AP Biology and General Sciences and did an outstanding job. My granddaughter attends a rigorous private school in Richmond, Virginia. With Reetikas help, she was able to achieve high marks in the courses that Reetika tutored. I would not hesitate to use her again but for the fact she has moved away from the Richmond area.
I wholeheartedly recommend Neza as a math tutor. She is exceptionally friendly, patient, and adept at explaining difficult concepts to young people in a way that engages them and helps them remember and apply what they learn.
I love working with kids and young adults. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics with the goal of teaching at a high school and/or grade school level. My journey in life led to becoming a Ballroom dance teacher. While my career has me work with a typical age range of 25-60, I went to school to inspire, motivate, and help grade school through high school age children. It has never been a goal of mine to simply teach a subject, whether it is math or ballroom dancing. I am dedicated to making a positive change in people's lives and showing them that they can get through anything if they are willing to do the work.

Hi! I have a bachelor of science in mathematics degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has been working continuously in secondary mathematics in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for nearly 20 years. I've taught pre-algebra, Algebra I Part I, Algebra I, Algebra II, precalculus, trigonometry, math analysis and calculus in Fairfax County Public Schools and in local private schools. Additionally, I have a series of proven successes in tutoring students at all levels and from a diversity of backgrounds, including gifted and talented students (BC Calculus, AP Physics, Thomas Jefferson HS, etc.) and students with learning disabilities (ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, etc), as well as "just average" kids who've just been lost in the shuffle and enrolled in classes from middle school to high school to college and graduate school classes. I also tutor mathematics for SAT, GRE and GMAT and for LSAT's logic games and logical reasoning sections as well as ASVAB.

I know no one to compare with, but I can only say that I love what I do, I love to share and that includes sharing knowledge about statistics and probabilities. I still remember things that I have learned way back in high school calculus, trigonometry, geometry and other mathematical sciences (matrices).
