I wrote a previous review for the company but I have spoken with them since and have decided to amend my review. Thumbtack does not allow users to delete or modify prior reviews more than once so that is why I needed to start a new one. I wanted to say that I felt the company did a very good job with coming out quickly and being on time. The owner of the company came himself and did good work. At first, I was not too happy about the price because it was all happening very fast and it seemed like a high price to pay for the fix. After doing some research and realizing how close I came to even worse disaster, I believe the price was more fair then I originally believed. First of all, we had record rainfall the next 3 days after the fix was done. If Rem had not come out so quickly to fix the problem, I would of almost definitely of had a flooded basement. That would have cost thousands to fix. Second, I did not make mention that he had to do work outside the house as well going through the wall to replace the bad pipe. I think that I underestimated how difficult it was to get in there and properly fix the issue. It was not just about replacing a pipe but knowing how to properly do it in the corner of the basement and seal it up correctly. Even if the price was slightly more than another plumper, they still got the job done promptly and Rem was very friendly. I think it is worth considering them for other jobs and they even gave me a good quote for fixing the damaged drywall and adding a check valve to my sump pump. I was unaware that my sump pump was even missing a check valve. Apparently, that is standard code now and my pump was installed prior to that update. Please reconsider my past review and give 24/7 a chance. I think you will be happy.

I needed quick and efficient service on a sump pump and regulatory valve and that is exactly what was provided. When he was running late prior to the appointment he let me know with anticipation. He even took the time to teach me about how a sump pump works which I’m sure is not in the jobs description. Great job. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Martin was professional and promptly shared a free estimate after coming out to assess and ultimate replace our outdoor sump pump and PVC piping. His product selection, his knowledge, and his years of experience is what gave him the edge over his competition. Furthermore he is a good listener. I had mentioned that debris from trees (leaves, sticks) cause the old pump to seize. When he installed the new sump pump, he put chicken wire over the grate to minimize the chance of future debris getting into the basin. Overall, Martin takes pride in his work and craftsmanship. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well he cleaned out the basin and the surrounding area. The install of the PVC and sump-pump itself was of high-quality. He took extra steps to ensure his work would withstand the test of time. It is rare to find a professional that cares about quality of their work, offers a high-level of professionalism, and really cares about the customers need. Martin is GREAT! He took his time, exercised patience and Martin exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend Ramos Plumbing and Handyman Service.

Posted for immediate repair and Dupree came out exactly when he said he would, hours after my post. He fixed two hose bibbs and a hot water heater valve, and worked with me to figure out the issues before doing the work. Will definitely hire again.

My basement flooded as a result of a broken sump pump during a torrential rain storm. Unlimited Resources responded in less than 2 hours of contacting them. Due to the flood I also had some electrical issues which needed attention quick. They provided staff with the appropriate certifications and credentials along with excellent professionalism and expertise. In the following days they made sure that my basement was dried out and did mold remediation. Grateful for having to deal with a good company under such distress.

The 5th Genration Group recently did a minor renovation on our condo; the quality of the drywall and finishing work was excellent. The staff was neat and professional. The group also did an outstanding ceramic tile installation on an existing fireplace. We will definitely work with them in the future.

David was prompt, professional, proficient and personable. There were several plumbing issues in our home. He reviewed, replaced or reinstalled pipes and valves that were leaking and wreaking havoc in our home. He also installed a new kitchen sink and faucet. After discovering several inefficiencies in the previous plumbing he explained the issues and addressed them. After installing a new faucet I realized the aesthetics just weren't right. He provided advisement on a new faucet that would fit the look of the sink and be cost effective. He picked up the new faucet, removed my first pick and installed the new one. It fits perfect. It Looks great and now our dishwasher, garage disposable, faucet and sprayer function without leaks and without problems.

I was worried that perhaps I may have damaged a sump pump when trying to clean it, and I sent a request in through Thumbtack. I heard from Norlan a couple hours later, and as he was in the neighborhood, he stopped by for a quick look. He checked the sump pump and verified that there was no problem with it and that it did not require work. He did not charge me for this visit/appraisal. Norlan strikes me as a knowledgeable and honest person, I will certainly turn to him when I have a plumbing issue in the future.

They were knowledgeable, punctual, professional, and very responsive. The shower door had a minor issue that Bob came back to address as fast as he could. I would highly recommend this team to anyone in need of their services.

Brad is the best, no two ways about it. He framed a large addition to my house, a large structure over my garage, and installed everything associated with them. I've had him work for me on all other kinds of things from bathrooms to windows to decks, and I would not even think of hiring anyone else; I have full confidence that he is going to do everything right the first time. He's can also supervise, he's inventive, clever, and fast.

Our AC system went out recently. It was old so we researched and called multiple people discovering that replacing it with a new system was best. After getting multiple bids we discovered The Plumbery. Larry's price for a 3Ton Carrier Heat Pump AC System was perfect. They were in and out within the day, clean, courteous, and most important, truthful. We would definitely recommend Larry and The Plumbery to our friends and family. Thanks! -Joe and Elizabeth.

My experience with Jose and AIR was very positive! Jose has done a good deal of work on my home. He has done everything from expanding a half bath to a full bath, relocating utilities, general drywall and insulation, upgrading a bathroom, and some electrical work. Additionally, he installed a sump pump, french drain, and extended and waterproofed my foundation when a city pipe was causing flooding issues in my basement. Jose and his workers are always polite, keep everything as clean as possible, and always keep me well informed. My basement issue was a bit of an emergency and Jose made himself available at all times of the day and night to help. The quotes have all been very reasonable compared to other contractors and there have not been any hidden nickel and dime costs. I am pleased with all the work he has done and continue to call him back for more projects!

These guys have waterproofed 2 basements installing 4 sump pumps over a 3 year period. They have remained professional and service oriented throughout. They are truly the experts on basement waterproofing as it is all they do. They have a passion for doing it, you can tell they live and breath waterproofing basements, taking a lot of pride in their work. I call them to consult on other issues I am having in locations outside of the dc area, and they even offered to fly their to check it out for me. Truly awesome.

We purchased a home that was built in the 1940's and during the winters, the house was unbearably cold, making most of the house miserable to be in and the heating bills were extremely high. Our crawl space wasn't sealed up. After reading outstanding reviews, we called Value Dry and Jim Ketterer and his team were exceptional to work with. They inspected what needed to be done, gave me an estimate that matched what I paid them, and they guaranteed the work even with transfer of home ownership. We had the crawl space encapsulated, added a sump pump with a back up, a sump pump drain, a window well with drainage, and they installed insulation in the cement walls of the foundation to completely seal it. We also have a humidistat so we can control the humidity underneath the house. Exceptional job! Our coldest days outside were mitigated inside by the insulation and our house is very comfortable to be in during the winter now. They worked hard to make sure the job was done correctly and I highly recommend their services.

About

We are proud to serve you. As a veteran-owned small business, we will provide you with innovative and cost-effective solutions to help prevent hazardous moisture levels or flooding from damaging your home or injuring you or your family. According to the EPA, indoor air quality is found to be up to 100 times worse than the air outside. Humidity and moisture or unrepaired water damage can play a major factor. Most people are unaware of the hazards associated with mold that can exist in a damp basement for example, or know the best way to remedy the situation, and can spend thousands of dollars waterproofing a basement that simply needs an effective ventilation system to expel the moisture and air pollution. We also want to help you prevent flooding with a battery backup or water-powered sump pump system to prevent water damage and basement or crawl space flooding, which can go a long way at giving you piece of mind and protection.
