Let me begin by saying that I was one of those brides that didn't think we would need a day of coordinator outside of what our venue provided, but boy was I wrong! Heather was a godsend during the final month of our wedding prep. Besides the normal stress that hits when you're a month away from your big day, we hit some unexpected bumps in the road with our venue. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Heather there to help us handle the venue's shortcomings. We never lost confidence that our day was going to be amazing because we knew we had Heather on our side - to be our eyes and ears, to help us see our vision through and to take the stress off of our shoulders. Not only was Heather a huge help with taking care of the ceremony and reception setup, but she saw us through our entire day, from the moment the bridal party started to get ready to cleanup after the reception. Heather also communicated with all of our vendors in the days leading up to our wedding and made sure everyone was on the same page and executed their roles as promised. She's very responsive, professional, very attentive to every detail and super sweet and fun to work with! I highly recommend working with Heather and wish we would have brought her on board sooner!

From beginning to end, Heather was there every step of the way! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner. She answered all of my questions within the same day and the day of my wedding was flawless. She even went above and beyond with planning and keeping me on budget. The day after my wedding, one of my father's first comments were about the excellent job that Heather did planning my wedding and I couldn't agree more. I was mainly concerned with day-of coordination and Heather had everything nailed down so that there were no hiccups. I thoroughly recommend her for anyone looking for a flawless wedding day!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been attending industry events and networking events in the Baltimore and DC area which allows me to grow in my business and offer more services for my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a natural progression. I finally realized I could make a living doing something I LOVED!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's not as easy as it looks. It takes a lot of planning and organization. Also, negotiating with vendors is a huge part of planning an event on a particular budget. Not everyone can negotiate a contract but I do have experience with all types of contract negotiations.
