If you want delicious food at an affordable price, you want Chef Kev! I’m am surly the pickiest eater there is, but Chef Kev got the best of me! We hired Chef Kev to provide the food for a networking event that we hosted. As an event planning company, we have had the chance to taste food from many different caterers throughout the Maryland, DC and VA area, but Chef Kev is among the best! His food made all the difference for our event and we cannot wait to begin referring our clients too him! (I should also mention how professional, and neat he was. He left the venue looking better than when he got there!)

We used Coast to Coast Staffing for a Bartender for our community event. We worked with Dee Rowe there and she was professional, quick and helpful with everything! Jared was the bartender for the event and he was AWESOME!! He was engaging, high energy and pleasant with our residents. We can't wait to have him come back for our next event. For those of you looking for a company that can provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance, this is the company to use!! We highly recommend using Coast to Coast Staffing, as we will be using them for our future events!

CraftyMomDC was a superstar at our school auction fundraiser. They prepared all the food platters and made them extremely attractive to boot. They kept the food replenished and the food tables clean. They cleaned as they worked so it was the shortest clean up in YEARS. They can do as much or as little as you need them to do and they will do it well. I was so impressed. They managed teenagers who were volunteering and quickly established a pleasant, constructive relationship with them. I was able to focus on the the auction event and not worry about food. Three weeks later people are still talking about what a great night it was, how good the food was, and how stress-free it was. After I decided to plan a 70th birthday party for my father, I knew I wanted something different other than just a few guests at home. After speaking with the owner of ALD, April, about what I was looking for and what my budget was, she immediately started helping me brainstorm options for locations and vendors to take care of everything from cupcake orders to banners. She even went to visit the restaurant, see the room, and speak to the restaurant event planner before I could make it over to the location. April is super organized and has timelines and deadlines for each step in planning the event and she always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. When the day of the event arrived she had all of the materials as discussed and decorated the dining room with a beautiful black and gold theme. She provided everything from chair covers and table linens to balloons. Everything went as planned and she stayed around to make sure everything was on track. I'm so glad that I worked with ALD! They created a memorable and unforgettable event.

I chose Denean's Party by Design to help with "day of" coordination for my wedding in Baltimore. Hands down, best decision I have ever made in my life. Denean and Teresa were extremely professional and thorough to make sure every detail of my special day was absolutely the way I wanted it. Since it was "day of," I did a majority of the legwork with decor and planning, but the set-up and presentation was even better than I ever imagined. Having these ladies present at the wedding ensured that the timeline moved along smoothly, all of my concerns were addressed immediately, and just overall provided a phenomenal experience. My guests went out of their way to note how extremely well-run the event was, and how friendly and personable the team was. You can tell they really love what they do. One of the most memorable moments that stood out to me was when my (slightly clumsy) husband stepped on the back of my dress and ripped the bustle off. Within 5 minutes and without missing a beat, Denean had expertly secured my dress with a large safety pin (you couldn't tell!) and I was back out on the dance floor. Personal touches like that are why I would absolutely recommend this team and would use them without hesitation for any future party/event planning needs!

The Floyds are amazing! So professional. We hosted a corporate event that was themed Harlem Nights and involved a committee of controlling, opinionated folks-- Kacey navigated all the personalities and the detailed list of must-plays with ease. This event was for a truly mixed crowd ranging from 60+ yr old executives to 20-something interns and everyone was on their feet dancing and celebrating. I would highly recommend the Floyds and look forward to them providing their stellar service in the future. They were on time and provided top notch equipment and were truly a joy to be around.

We had Catering Reserved cater our company Holiday party and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this company is is. Dianna was so easy to work with. She took care of all my questions, concerns, and needs with phenomenal professionalism. Her patience with me while I was trying to organize a corporate event, waiting on final menu selections, head counts, and final approvals from the owners was unparalleled. Maritza was our event captain for the party and she and her staff were FANTASTIC! The servers and bartender were so sweet and friendly. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with last minute adjustments was such a blessing. The food was INCREDIBLE. Everything from the appetizers to the entrees and sides, right down to dessert, was SO DELICIOUS. I have never had so many employees come to me to express how great the good was. I am so grateful for Catering Reserved, not just for the amazing food, but for the truly fantastic staff, and for the tremendous and sincere effort in helping me put together a great 100+ person event. I cannot wait to have another reason to employ their services and I wholeheartedly recommend them for any event.

We loved working with Mary! She knew our venue (Historic London Town) like the back of her end, so it made it so much easier to handle all of the ins and outs leading up to our wedding and on the day of. Mary was such a lifesaver for us, helping us think through the setup of the event, planning our rehearsal to make sure we knew what we were doing, and corralling our vendors in line with our planned schedule. Whatever we needed from Mary, she was willing to do, and always with a huge smile. This included taking care of the clean-up of the decor items we brought to the venue, and even meeting us a couple days later to pass off things that couldn't fit in our car. Would work with Mary again if given the chance!

We hired Toria for my Goddaughters second birthday. She was wonderful! She arrived on time and ready to be ambushed by kids. Her work was great and she was genuinely polite and professional. She didn't even bat an eye when my Goddaughter decided to paint herself with Toria's paint (after already having her face painted!!) She did such a wonderful job most of the adults received face painting as well. We'll definitely use her again!

BMore Fabulous was such a great find for our wedding, we will be looking to work with them again soon for our family reunion! I needed a wedding planner due to my busy schedule. I wanted someone to be able to accomplish anything I needed from vendor searches to scheduling. I quickly found out that I needed an all-inclusive package, however, all the polished major companies I found were charging a ridiculous amount of money and not providing everything I wanted to be accomplished. To save money and also try to support local businesses or start-ups, students, amateurs etc, I started to look for wedding planners on craigslist, thumbtack, local ads etc. I found BMore Fabulous and was quickly convinced that this was who I wanted to work with. The price was right, the details were many, and the contract was flexible. I did not realize until later, but we really did win big by working with this company. BMore Fabulous was more than all inclusive. Erin, the boss, accomplished all the expected all-inclusive activities such as finding vendors, scheduling meetings, and planning the day of events, but she did WAYY more than that. She was also our decorator for the venue, with her own linen and decor, she provided uplighting for beatuiful effects with her own equipment, and she was our florist for all the bouquets and decor. She also provided the staff and coordination for our bar. If you truly want all inclusive in one place, Erin, from BMore Fabulous is the WOMAN. Also, regardless of what she could provide, Erin, was very flexible. This, I find, might have been the most important benefit we got from working with them. I imagine other polished and bougie companies would be very strict and inflexible when it came to the contract, payment options, changes to your ideas and plans. With Erin, we were able to change our contract twice. Our payment options were flexible, and there were no hiccups with policies. If we had a vision, there was no headache with changing things. My husband and I are very particular and he had his doubts if all of our details would turn out right at the wedding. He actually had his doubts about BMore Fabulous, because all of our meetings were not conducted at an office, and details were written on lined paper, or an old laptop etc. In all reality, that was judgmental. Our wedding turned out absolutely beautiful! Despite that there were so many mistakes from our officiant and DJ, the crowd did not notice, and the only reason it ran as smooth as it did was because of BMore Fabulous! My husband in fact, later said how he was impressed by Erin and her work and how she did an exceptional job. Definitely work with BMore Fabulous!

Juanita and her partner were more help than we ever imagined they'd be. They were prompt, well-dressed and ready to dig in one min after arrival! They quickly assessed the main areas and helped get the appetizers ready, prepared the drinks and attended to the arriving guests. During food service, they made sure each guest had enough of whatever they wanted and made sure their glasses were full too. Towards the end of the affair, they let me know when there were 30 min remaining for their contracted time. When I had a small look of panic because, Juanita assure me that the dishes would be cleaned and the there would be enough sangria to get last until everyone left. And she was right! Thanks to Juanita and her partner for everything they did to make our dinner part an successful event!

When I first met Tracy and told her my budget, I expected her to bail out on me like every other decorator I had spoken to. But she made me feel at ease even with my ridiculously low budget. And over the next couple of weeks, she came up with beautiful centerpieces that looked liked they cost thousands of dollars. Her sense of decor is amazing! She transformed the boring hall i had rented into a beautiful, romantic setting! And her team were just as down to earth as she is, very attentive. Made me feel special in every way they could. I am thankful for the day I came across her page on Thumbtack :) I would definitely recommend her for a worry free event coordinating and decorating services.

Shawanna planned my baby shower, and my son's 1st and 2nd birthday parties. All 3 events turned out beyond expectations. Each theme was carefully thought out and perfectly executed. Shawanna has a very intricate eye for detail, so you can expect everything to be creatively crafted, from the invitations down to the favors. The favors are definitely always one of a kind. My favorite is the balloon arches. Hard to believe they are handmade; they look like something out of a catalog. I would definitely recommend Exclusive Bashes for anyone who is planning an event. It will surely be one to remember.

I didn't think I needed planning assistance, but eventually became overwhelmed with all of the shower details. I met Tillie through this site and she helped me every step of the way. It really pays to hire someone who has experience and knows what they're doing. Party planning sounds fun and easy, but there's alot to it that I didn't realize at first. Fairy Godmother Events is a godsend! Kadzo is highly professional and worked within my budget to plan the decorations and lighting for my "rustic-chic" barn wedding next April. Thanks to Kadzo's dedication, she was able to custom-build a decoration package that incorporated some of my own DIY elements, fit my tight budget, and offered day of wedding coordination and decorating services. Other event planning services just flat out told me that it was impossible to fit the budget that I had set aside, but FGE did what nobody else could. FGE truly goes above and beyond for their clients!
