Introduction: My lessons are custom tailored for each student. I prefer to not use theory books because they can seem daunting or "boring" as some of my younger students have said. I learned the instruments that I play without the use of them, and I find that learning essential aspects of music through the songs you know and love is far more entertaining...and you are more inclined to practice. Getting to share one of the most important things in my life with my students.

John was teaching me things I already knew. I had to play the same thing for weeks on end. One day, he came in and asked my family for tea. I found that very weird, and I do not use him anymore

If you buy 5 lessons up front, you save $5 each lesson. Compared to the normal weekly rate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. Gear talk with friends/peers is essential. Can't become a dinosaur. Gotta stay relevant.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I needed a job when I moved to Maryland from Ohio. My mom predicted that I would become a teacher 6 years prior to the day that I actually did. Mom knows best, right?
