I'm a retired physics professor who is very passionate about teaching physics/mathematics and training a young generation of scientists for independent research and opportunity to participate in science competitions such as Siemens and Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). I hold a PhD in Physics from Columbia University, New York City, NY. I have extensive experience in advising and working with top IT industries such as Samsung and LG Electronics in the area of emerging technology and digitization of the health care, and partnering with renowned universities for brain science research.
I have over 35+ years of teaching physics and mathematics from all levels of education (middle school students to graduate/post-doctoral fellows) at various program settings. I designed various curricular and non-curricular activities for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) inspired students. I also chaired Korea Physics Olympiad program and was responsible for recruiting, selecting and training teams each year to compete in the International Physics Olympiad Competition.
Whether you are pursuing advanced science/engineering degree, interested in emerging technologies, or preparing for tests or AP exams, I can help. I'm good at breaking down hard and technical concepts into simple terms and explaining each step with real life examples so that it makes sense. I love teaching and I care about student's success and I'm willing to go an extra mile until you feel comfortable with the subject.See more
