About

Melvin is AMAZING!!!!!! I can't recommend him highly enough. He was on-time and went above and BEYOND to help me and my three roommates get rid of a ton of junk before moving out of our rental house. He was awesome to work with and were all so impressed with his work. If I could give him more than five stars, I would. I even booked him less than two days in advance!!

About

I found On Demand Delivery via Thumbtacks and the Ad said "$40 per hour" As a result of this absolute stated fee I sent an email of interest in which Patrick replied with interest. I then told Patrick I was sending his information to a friend who happens to be a very nice and kind person who is not very familiar with business or America for that matter. She needed storage moved. I told her Patrick was $40 per hour and she was delighted that I found a mover to provide a more reasonable price considering that the move was only 3 miles from one storage unit to a new one. I passed on the information and she in turn called Patrick to arrange for a time. Patrick said he would be able to make the move for her and would be back in touch. They arranged a date and time and the move took place. At the end of the move Patrick charged $40 per hour per man which in turn turned out to be $80 per hour and not $40 per hour and they took nearly 5-6 hours to move a 10 x 10 storage unit approximately 3 miles to a new storage. I was unaware of the situation until days later when I asked how the move went and my friend wasn't going to share what happened because she did not want to have me upset as I was the one that conveyed his price of $40 per hour to her. I wrote Patrick of my concern and that I requested that he send my friend $150 back which and he conveyed that he wrote me an email telling me it was $40 per man however I never saw this email and that his Ad on Thumbtacks specifically says $40 per hour not $40 per hour per man and also that he never conveyed this directly to my friend nor gave her anything up front in a written estimate form. So the situation was 1. Thumbtack Ad indicated $40 per hour 2. I conveyed to my friend that he charges $40 per hour 3. Patrick indicated he wrote me that it was $40 per hour per man of which I never received and even if I had it was not what is on thumbtack and I would not have probably moved forward with him if I had known as we had lower pricing from others. 4. Patrick met up with my friend and arranged for the move however there was no mention of price until the job was done 5. Assumptions were my friend believed the price was $40 per hour as I conveyed Patrick believed his correspondence went through to me and I conveyed that he was really $40 per hour per man I believed that he was $40 per hour as per thumbtack With all this being said, my friend said that Patrick and his assistant did a wonderful job moving her possessions to a new storage. She did say it took longer then anticipated and shocking that it cost a lot more then what we saw it showing on thumbtack. I have suggested to Patrick that he indicate on thumbtack that his fees are $40 per hour per man and not a straight $40 per hour. BTW, yes I was told his services were good and that they would use his services as they are very conscientious of their work ...As for pricing they just need to be a bit clearer in their print of how they charge. I understand that it is a great lead in to show $40 per hour but it should indicate $40 per hour per man. In his defense maybe thumbtacks doesn't have the room to indicate $40 per hour per man in the lead in, but in the body there is plenty of room to indicate it is per hour per man. His pricing is $80 per hour because it is unlikely for movers to be a one man job. per hour

The only complaint I had was the movers were late. But that was due to traffic on the interestate. They were very nice and polite and was finished in three hours.Nothing was broken and they took very good care of my belongings. I reccommend E and C Moving Company to anyone who wants to move.

About

I had a great moving experience with this company. I was promised 2 movers but I they brought 3 & still kept my rate the same. They worked hard & quickly but were very careful with my belongs. I was worried about going over the 3 hour minimum but they stayed within the time limit which was great. I didn't have to lift one piece of furniture or any boxes. This definitely made my moving experience very easy & stress-free! I would definitely recommend My Labor & Moving to my friends & family. Well done!

About

Office and Movers team were very friendly during the move and didn't give up until we finished. I was amazed on how they got my large furniture up the tight staircase, but they never gave up or complained despite the difficulties. They were professional from start to finish and their price quote was accurate. extremely fast, literally running in between each load, we never felt like they were dragging their feet or wasting time. Everything was delivered and put in place correctly and in perfect condition. They worked quickly and carefully and got the job finished without any damage. Not even a small scratch. Their service has always been great and their written quotes have always been on the money. I would hire them again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again guys!

Great people in office as well as the movers themselves. Very flexible during our up and down time frame with closing. Also cheaper by $1000 than Allied. A joy to work with and I'm recommending them to all my friends.
