You can't ask for a better tutor than the one we got. We ended up doing in-home tutoring and the tutor was very kind and courteous and knowledgeable.
Mr. Bromley has been very helpful and provided the support we needed when were searching for an online tutoring service. The A+ Club helped coordinating our schedules and we are able to find qualified tutor that is reasonably priced and also give us the homework help that we're looking for. Yes, I would recommend their service to others.
Mr.Mougy Ahmed has been working with my son for the past 1 year and I believe he's the best tutor I have ever met. He's very sincere, extremely patient and works with my son with utmost dedication and love towards tutoring. My son likes him very much and I would truly recommend his services to anyone looking for Math tutoring.
Prior to tutoring, two things were holding my daughter back on the SAT- the math section and her confidence. Alex was the perfect tutor to improve both of those areas. He provided clear teaching in math that honed in on the areas where she needed the most help. He was consistently positive and encouraging, helping her believe in herself. This led to her math score jumping 180 points.
He is amazing so easy to understand and nice and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a math tutor.
I bought a tutoring package for my daughter Laura and we have been extremely happy. Arbor Tutors is the best.
Eric tutored my daughter in Calculus II for about 8 weeks. He was always courteous/respectful, responsive, and timely. He was also flexible, willing to change the tutoring dates/times to accommodate our fluctuating schedules. My daughters Calculus II grade went from a D to B.
I did not anticipate the impact that Novastar tutoring would have. We started with our oldest child, and tutoring to help raise her math grade. Not only did her grade rise quickly, but also her overall confidence. We now have two children receiving "proactive" tutoring, to keep them ahead of the curve. Their grades have never been higher!
Dr. Mukunda was very patient, knowledgeable and accommodating towards my son. I highly recommend her and would use her again if he takes another math class!
My daughter was recently tutored by Sam for a college pre-cal/trig summer school course. The pace was fast and by the time we called Sam, she was in the fifth of her sixth week. By week 5 her grades were taking a downward spiral as the material was getting more complex. She was teetering on the precipice with a C-. After one intense week of working with Sam she finished with a B. He worked magic. He was patient and and an excellent teacher .I initially worried that he would be "too qualified" to tutor the course, but he was able to explain math to my rising sophomore college daughter, who has always struggled with the subject. He was the best math tutor my daughter has ever had. And a very nice man.
She tutored my husband during his college years in India, and much later, she tutored our younger daughter with her AP Calculus course during her senior year in high school (2013-2014). Dr. Mitra continues to mentor her time to time as she pursues a Bachelor's degree in engineering. Dr. Mitra, a genuinely caring and compassionate individual goes above and beyond expectations when it comes to working with her students. Her teaching style is rigorous, but by using fun-filled activities as supplements she makes sure that Mathematics is not just a subject to be mastered. Moreover, her students learn to love the subject and genuinely enjoy learning. She is patient and always ready to do whatever it takes to facilitate student learning.
Mr. Glass is a wonderful middle school math teacher! Both of my daughters have difficulties with understanding math and require a teacher who is patient, understanding and willing to take the extra time needed to be sure their students comprehend the lesson. Mr. Glass is that type of teacher! He also makes learning fun and can be a little silly with the kids, which seems to help kids feel more at ease with asking questions in the classroom and admitting when they don't understand something. My girls felt more confident in his classroom, and actually ENJOYED taking his five week summer school class!
Leah did a great job when my daughter needed help with math. She was always punctual. She is very patient and kind and really helped my daughter a lot. I recommend her highly.
I graduated from Moscow State University. I have PhD in math and teaching experience of more than 30 years. I am teaching math, algebra, Russian, and Tajiki (Persian).
I have been tutoring various levels of high school math for about three years. Included are algebra, trigonometry, probability theory, calculus, matrix algebra, etc. One student raised his grades from C to A-.
I am a tutor. My concern is to help students to have good grades and to achieve their goals. I am a patient and more comprehensive person.
Because I can teach in a simple way that the student can understand math easily
I use math and science in the real world daily as a researcher at the NIH and bring this practical perspective to my work with students. I focus on helping students understand the concepts so they can learn the material really well and have lasting academic success.
Teaching and tutoring all levels of Math, Physics and Engineering subjects in school, undergraduate and graduate for more than 10 years.
Hi! I have a bachelor of science in mathematics degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has been working continuously in secondary mathematics in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for nearly 20 years. I've taught pre-algebra, Algebra I Part I, Algebra I, Algebra II, precalculus, trigonometry, math analysis and calculus in Fairfax County Public Schools and in local private schools. Additionally, I have a series of proven successes in tutoring students at all levels and from a diversity of backgrounds, including gifted and talented students (BC Calculus, AP Physics, Thomas Jefferson HS, etc.) and students with learning disabilities (ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, etc), as well as "just average" kids who've just been lost in the shuffle and enrolled in classes from middle school to high school to college and graduate school classes. I also tutor mathematics for SAT, GRE and GMAT and for LSAT's logic games and logical reasoning sections as well as ASVAB.
I do one on one tutoring and individualize my approach to students. I also hold 2 bachelor degtees. I'm highly educated to assist your child
