"I hired Dominic Sbrega to teach my son how to play upright bass. I am a very thorough researcher, so I called conductors of local orchestras and bands to try to find the best teacher for my son. I was surprised that Dom’s name came up so frequently, given that he was still in high school. However, even at his young age, he had a great local and national reputation. As a result, I decided to give Dom a chance. Though my son was studying classical music, he was also interested in jazz. Dom was adept at teaching both. Dom was extremely patient and always very clear in his instructions. Dom’s lessons managed to be both demanding yet fun. My son adored him, enjoying every second of his lessons. I could not imagine a better bass teacher."

"From the moment I met Bethany, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I had never sung for anyone outside my immediate family and friends, so I was very nervous. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and before I knew it, I was knee deep in my first voice lesson and loving it. I had so much fun and learned a lot that I didn't know in just one half-hour lesson. I look forward to many more voice lessons with Bethany and signed up for the next month already. She has great communication, honesty and a wonderful spirit. So happy I chose to take lessons with her!"

"Piano lessons with Nancy Ney Colby ("Nanci") not only gave me new ways to improve my playing and understanding of music but it gave me renewed inspiration to keep practicing on my own. Her ability to tune into what would be most helpful to me was remarkable. Her patience and gentle instruction, hands on when needed, opened exciting practice techniques that made an immediate difference. I recommend her highly for you will not just benefit from her teaching methods, you will also benefit from her welcoming, inviting and warm presence as she helps you improve your playing while enjoying the process of learning and getting better at the same time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions concerning her piano teaching. Tom P 415-453-1447 "

"Jamie is a wonderful musician and teacher. We have performed together in the pit orchestra of several musicals (he was piano/director and I was percussion). We also performed as a duet for a wedding reception. I would recommend Jamie to anyone looking for someone who is both talented and a pleasure to work with."
