My son had never had drum lessons before so he was pretty bad at first. We can definitely tell the difference over the past 2 months when he is down stairs practicing. Scott is very patient and my son really enjoys his lessons.

I, and my associates are all professional musicians, performers and artists of various talents. Personally, I have toured the U.S., Canada and Bermuda, performed on Cruise Ships and been offered contracts to perform on Broadway and record for Geffen records. I also hold a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and taught music in a local private elementary school. I have performed with several famous artists, and I know the value of learning how to do things properly from the beginning, before developing habits that will slow you down in the future.

I am a Detroit-based singer/songwriter/arranger and producer. I've been teaching voice since high school where I began directing a 70-voice choir and singing in a traveling gospel group w/a fully-appointed band. Since then, I have been teaching others how to sing, as individual performers and in a group setting. Though my primary focus is working with choirs and praise teams, in a church setting, I also currently provide vocal instruction to individuals, groups/ensembles/praise teams, and choirs, covering areas such as: learning to sing melodies, learning to sing in harmony (from basic to complex), learning how to interpret songs/lyrics and to connect with an audience, learning how to sing ad-libs, learning how to perform duets and how to use proper placement of ad-libs. Proper breathing technique, rhythm, conducting/directing and working with musicians in a choir setting are also taught.

Hello. I specialize in vocal lessons and also have experience with piano and guitar. I've sang for a number of years, led worship at church, and directed several choirs. Some of my accomplishments include winning a trip to South Africa through a vocal performance, singing with Christian Music's Chris Tomlin, singing with Christian Music/Sanctus Real's Matt Hammitt, and obtaining scholarships to local universities for voice. It is my goal to encourage healthy and smart singing. I strive to bring the best out of all of my clients.
