About

I thought that private dog training was expensive and was apprehensive about paying so much money but wow! You can get a lot out of each lesson with a trainer who knows their stuff. Excellent experience and will be working with valorzen over the next few weeks. Cant wait to see even more progress.

I lost hope with my 2 year old Lab. He was filled with anxiety every trip we went on and even snipped at some younger children. After 4 weeks of board and train with Anna, my dog came back with more confidence and was very much laid back on our latest trip. I know I still have to work hard on my end, but Anna definitely gave my Lab a great head start. It was very hard to leave him for so long, but after seeing all he learned I knew he was in good hands. I would even use Canine Co-Pilots for boarding while out of town!

Judi is a great trainer. We had our new puppy enroll in her puppy basic class. She has a true love for the pups and their individual needs and tapers the class accordingly. She goes above and beyond and her class was so much better than those that you'd find at a big-box pet stores. Our pup is a pro at sitting, staying, following other simple commands and focusing. We will be enrolling our dog into another of her advanced classes and can't wait to see how much more he can learn!

About

We own a very high energy young dog (Oliver) and some days we can use assistance with getting him the additional exercise he needs. Ryan has been an amazing addition to Oliver's weekly routine! Ryan takes him on scenic and long hikes. I really appreciate the pictures and text updates that Ryan sends me about their adventures, it makes me feel really at ease that our baby boy is in good hands. Oliver comes home both mentally and physically exercised, it makes such a huge impact on his demeanor. Another service that Ryan offers is care visits while we are away overnight or for extended time during the day. At first I was worried about leaving our Oliver home alone overnight, but after trying this service out it has been a useful and convenient option for us. When we come home we can tell that Oliver is not anxious or stressed. Having someone we can count on to take care of our baby boy has definitely added more flexibility to the social lives of two working parents!

I had A GREAT experience with Jean! I was having trouble introducing my new rescue dog to my other dog and my kids, she came to my house and showed me the proper way of introducing a new dog and it helped us out tremendously! I will be signing my dog up for basic obedience training class this month! :) I always recommend her to people who need help with training.

We had our first session with Valerie this past weekend. Our dogs had a great time and began learning instantly. Valerie is great with the dogs and is very well organized. We have homework that we are doing until we see her again for our next session.

About

Does your dog have issues? I work one on one with dog owners to correct behavior problems. I travel to the home to consult with the owner(s) and observe the problems that need addressing. I educate owners in the areas of dog psychology, body language and methods of correction. At the end of the first visit, usually lasting anywhere from one and a half to two hours, I set up a plan for the owners to follow for the next week or two. I return at the end of that time to follow up and check progress. If further sessions are necessary, I will advise the owner of that at that time. I specialize in aggression cases. I have been fortunate to have been able to save several dogs from having to go to shelters or be put to sleep. I absolutely love what I do, and it shows in my work. I will go the extra mile for my clients. The method I use is cheaper, in most cases, and more in depth and effective than traditional obedience training. My clients love the fact that they can use the knowledge I give them with any dog they may own in the future and never have to pay for training again. Clients love that, after trying everything else with little or no success, I can step in and correct the problem in 1-3 visits. I will travel anywhere within 2 hours of Cleveland, Ohio.

Our goal is to ensure you have a healthy, lifelong bond with yours by providing you the knowledge and skills to create a happy, confident and well-mannered member of your family. We are a group of dog behaviorists with over 20 years of combined experience, specializing in in-home training programs for dogs of all breeds, temperaments and backgrounds. Our knowledge and experience gives us the ability to read and understand each dog accurately and adjust accordingly; this is what separates the professional behaviorist from the novice trainer. We pride ourselves on our ability to solve any behavior problem, and teach effective obedience through positive reinforcement training methods, without the use of shock collars, clickers or treats. Our training philosophy demands that owners be given the knowledge to build and maintain leadership, as well as the theories and methods for understanding and correcting current behavior problems, and preventing future ones. We show families how to utilize their dog's natural instincts towards redirecting unwanted behaviors. With our Dog Training for Life program, we begin with a free in-home evaluation to assess your dog in their natural environment, allowing us to pinpoint the source of any behavior problems. Most behavior problems occur in the home, and obedience needs to be effective there in everyday life, so training you and your dog in your own environment first is essential for success. Once you have success at home, the next step is to teach your dog how to behave outside your home, and work on behavioral problems specific to public settings at our Socializing Groups.

We just had a newborn baby and it has been a struggle keeping our high energy, fur-baby happy. I looked into dog walking businesses and all were way out of our budget so I'm so glad I found Kelsey as she is excellent, reliable and super flexible and understanding. Best of all, my pup adores her. I highly recommend Kelsey if you are looking for a dog walker/trainer. :)

Hello to all! I am an experienced dog trainer and have been with animals all my life. I use the reward method that the famous trainer, Rudd Weatherwax, used to train Lassie dogs. I service the Oakland and Wayne County areas I come to you, so the dog or dogs will be more comfortable in their own surroundings. Sometimes, we can meet at a park for doggie outings. My fee is $40.00 for the first two-hour lesson. Lessons after that will be $30.00 each.

I am dealing with a dog who will be a year on11-6, I have had the dog for about 2 months. I am having aggression problems with him. It started out with food but now he is becoming aggressive while he is resting. He gets agitated if he is laying on me and I try to move him. Or if I go to pet him while sleeping. I have tried to do some training with him, asking him to "stay" and "leave it" while putting a piece of food on the ground. He will do this but will snarl at me. Once he stops and looks at me I will give him a treat. During this time he will do a submissive urination.
