Anthony is a great fitness trainer/neutrition coach. The energy and vibe Anthony creates in his gym makes me get up and want to exersize first thing in the morning. He is Very encouraging and knows what he's doing. He consults first, gives a test and makes a plan, and he adjusts it to your body's needs(to get fit n healthy but not to strain it too much, if you have or had an injury) but enough to make it challenging. The best gym I've been to in years, as I keep moving around it's hard to find really great trainers. As long as I live in Lansing I'll be coming here. I have had many fitness trainers and I wasn't feeling it, when I come here I can feel the progress being made, and it makes me want to come back. Love westside fitness Lansing. Before this gym and Anthony i didn't like exersizing nor was I that eager to exersize and get fit.
Chris is the absolute best! He customizes each workout to fit your needs and switches things up each time so you never get bored of doing the same thing. Extremely flexible with his schedule and will often work around my hectic schedule to ensure I can get my three workouts in a week. He’s always bringing in new equipment and his gym is completely on trend with the industry. While Chris takes your goals into consideration, the best part is you often get a total body workout in during each session. The training provided by Troy Kelley is challenging and innovative, with an emphasis on the "personal" aspect of training. His workouts are never repetitive or boring. Troy is client specific, adept at determining what the client needs to achieve their own particular goal (s) and he uses his many years of experience to continually grow and improve as a personal trainer.

I started working with Brittany because I wanted to build strength, learn how to properly use weights, and prevent injury. I've been a long distance runner for years, but IT band issues were keeping me from reaching my fitness potential. Having knee problems at only 28 years old, I knew I needed to get some training help and learn how to keep my body healthy and in shape for the years to come. Brittany was an awesome source of motivation as I worked to build up strength in muscles I wasn't accustomed to using. At first, I really struggled with squats and sit-ups, but after a few weeks I was soon able to do both with ease! The workouts were always varied, challenging, interesting, and tailored to the fitness level I was at. Brittany is a great teacher, motivator, and source of wisdom for all of your fitness needs. Being able to train in the comfort of my own home was an added bonus, and made it so the workout routine could fit my busy schedule. I highly recommend Brittany- you and your body won't regret it!

In 2004, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. For some eight years, I stewed and fell deeper and deeper into depression. My weight ballooned out of control and peaked at 350 lbs by the end of 2011. In the beginning of 2012, I decided I needed a change. Overnight, I overhauled my diet in a reasonable way that still allowed me some of my favorite "bad" foods. In roughly 11 months, I lost 150 lbs, no fad diets, no pills, no nonsense. I spent most of my free time researching nutrition, training and physiology. I watched hundreds of hours of lectures, training footage and discussions. I read numerous research articles on all the major concerns related to weight loss, strength training and muscle-building. I learned how to effectively and intelligently structure a program for nearly anyone, no matter what their goals are. I am currently pursuing proper certification and am seeking a bachelor's degree at minimum in the field of exercise science and kinesiology. I will start this winter. Fitness is my passion in life, and I hope I can help you on your journey toward better health, a better body and a better outlook on life.
