FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We present written quotes for every prospect client, the quotes include the following: -Breakdown of list of materials, including cost per unit and link to the material description, and total of materials (we do not overprice the materials), we strive to be as accurate as possible with the cost so that there is no surprises in material cost once there is an agreement, any changes by the customer to the original plan may add cost to the original quote. -Breakdown of labor tasks and total of labor cost -We do not require deposits, we will stipulate payments towards the total balance of the labor cost, this will be based on the progress of the job -We present progress to the client during the staging of the project, this to ensure the customer is happy with the quality of work
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I visit the project's location, while observing safe distance rules and standard safe practices, we will determine the scope of the project after talking to the prospect client, we want to understand the main goal of the project, we maintain a grounded perspective to ensure the vision of the project aligns with the client's budget. We then present a written quote via email with the break down of materials and labor within a day or two.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Worked for one of the big builder companies in Michigan, and now I work on my own, one customer at a time, striving to provide a higher level of quality at a lower cost since our overhead cost is much less than those bigger companies.
