I am an older adult guitar player that wanted to learn some new skills and learn guitar theory. Steve had instructed my son years back and I knew he was the only one that would listen to my needs and also had a music degree to back up his playing skills.He has a very down to earth approach and is so calm and patient. He never is intimidating which is important to someone like myself that was always told "Girls don't play electric guitar." I recommend Steve all the time when asked if I know a good guitar teacher. There are plenty of guitar teachers but many of them are not trained musicians but off the street guitar players.

Almost 2 yrs ago my little one decided he wanted to play the guitar. He started going with Steve because he was right around the corner. From the moment Diego had his first class I saw the connection he had with Steve. Its just awesome to sit and watch how they work and learn together. A year ago we moved out of town and I now drive 45 min to and from Grand Rapids once a week for Diego's classes. I have to say every penny is worth for the improvement Diego has made since day one!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons cost $20 / half hour and are given weekly. The first lesson is free.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know new students and try to get a clear understanding of where they are musically and what their goals are. We discuss any previous musical experience, what sort of music they would like to play etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. I also have 25 years of full-time teaching experience.
