I moved into a house that was recently occupied, because I had to clean my apartment and coordinate the move while working full time, I wanted a move in clean. I reached out and they were very responsive, more quick than any other company. I called and they were available when I needed. I had a very detailed run through of what I needed, much of which was included in the description of a move in clean. I let the cleaner in and went over quickly what I wanted, describing cleaning little nooks and crannies/baseboards, walls etc. however the majority of description I had given the manager. I came over to look at what was done and things like the inside of the fridge, the stove, and cabinets were not cleaned. One of the biggest reasons I got a cleaning company. What was cleaned was done fairly well. I reached out to let them know and was offered 10% off and for a cleaner to come back, but by that time I was preparing to move in and had already spent 200 dollars. Overall I was disappointed. Mistakes happen, but I feel like I’m out 200 dollars and still had to clean the dirtiest parts of the house.

T & D Cleaning Services, I telephonically interviewed 4 cleaning services in an attempt to do my due diligence, I selected T & D cleaning service. Diane interviewed well, she directed me to her business website, which was very professional, user-friendly with great functionality. Diane declined to physically assess the job in advance, as did the other three interviewees. She arrived promptly at 9:00am and stated the job would take 5 hours to complete. I was baffled by this since the job was to clean a completely empty house with no kitchen appliances or furniture. She made two trips to her car bringing in supplies and equipment. The house was a rental that had been precleaned prior to contractual work being done. The house was freshly painted throughout, new kitchen countertops and flooring. The flooring throughout the home was newly sanded, stained and clear-coated hardwood flooring, which she said she would steam clean. The bathroom, also freshly painted, contained a new vanity and medicine cabinet. In the 1-bedroom apartment upstairs, which had been empty for 5 years, she was asked to vacuum, dust and clean 2 horizontal mini blinds. The apartment was an additional charge. Diane called at 4:30p to inform me she was done. I struggled to understand what she did for 7.5 hours. Her focus was to be the kitchen and bathroom. She was asked to clean the kitchen cabinets inside and out. The cabinets were cleaned in a hit and miss manner, the counter tops had residue remaining from installation that still remained when she was done cleaning, no steam cleaning of floors was done, the bathroom floor and tub were omitted. She had taken the chandelier apart in the dining room to clean the various pieces and left them sitting on the kitchen counter; presumably for me to put back together. The chandelier fixture itself had been completely missed, and was full of dust. Turns out, Diane had no vacuum cleaner and “swept” the carpet on the stairs entering the apartment. As I exposed the deficiencies in her work, she ran around making corrections and excuses; and took no responsibility. Everything was my fault or the website’s fault. I was charged a 6% sales tax for the cleaning service, which according to Michigan law, janitorial services are exempt. She also declined to provide a Senior Citizen discount or any type of price adjustment considering her work ethic or lack thereof. The entire experience was disappointing, I feel like I was scammed. Would I recommend or rehire T & D Cleaning Services: NO.

Angie definitely lived up to what everyone said about punctuality which was much appreciated. However we were disappointed with execution of a few tasks. We paid for a deep clean but we will be cleaning more things after her, which is indication that the job was not complete. She was cleaning a completely empty house and we pointed out two major things (among other tasks) we wanted done: cleaning the radiators and cleaning blinds. She did a good job wiping down surfaces but lacked execution in other areas. For instance after mopping her and the two assistants she brought with her continued to walk over wet floors with their shoes. She did not touch the blinds. And we have radiators that had dust caught in between them and despite giving clear directions about how to get rid of the dust she didn't have the tools to execute it properly so she just half heartedly wiped down what she could reach with a rag. To her credit, if there was something we pointed out that we wanted cleaned she'd do it but as time ran out her thoroughness seemed to disappear. We asked her to re-do dusting the radiators because it hadn't been done properly but she merely wiped down the outside without trying to get creative and get the cracks where all the dust lived. I got the impression that she was ready to leave and wasn't trying to stay and make sure she hadn't missed anything. Weirdly, WE felt rushed. While I am grateful for her services I wish there had been more professionalism as well as the desire to leave not a stone unturned when performing a "deep clean".

Poor scheduling. They texted me at 11pm in the middle of the night two days before the scheduled cleaning to confirm the appointment. I confirmed even though it was a very late time to be contacted. I texted the day of and again confirmed our a appointment and I was told we were on schedule between 3-4pm and I would receive a text when they were on their way. I waited for two hours to hear anything or have them show up. Never received any reply to my texts and then I tried to call, went straight to voicemail. I understand things change but now I have a dirty house and need to find someone else to do the job. They could've at least let me know things changed and tried to reschedule. Very unprofessional.
