Introduction: I offer a broader approach to appreciating and understanding music. You will learn not just how to play your instrument or how to properly sing, but the history of the music you are learning to play, how music works and how to teach others!
I love teaching children and adults alike to love and appreciate music as much as I do! Music can be a portal to learning about new cultures, improves the ability to learn foreign languages and math, as well as time management and organizational skills. I love watching kids blossom while discovering something that they can truly be good at and feel proud of!

Kara is an excellent piano teacher to my nine year old. She knows how to bring out the best in her, how to keep her engaged and challenged, and she will modify her curriculum and teaching techniques to suit your child. We are thrilled with our daughters progress and confidence, and that is thanks to Kara.

My experience with Wardell Music Studio has been extremely rewarding! The teacher here has a way with the students that is very unique. She is in tune with each one of her students needs individually teaching them yet keeping them all engaged and working together along with the parents. Also very flexible with schedules. I absolutely love Wardell Music Studio!
