5 years ago, weighing in at 378lbs, and a lack of motivation/ determination to do anything I decided to take my life back. The one constant thing in all this has been my personal trainer/ life coach Pete Haugabook. His unique meal plans, unmatched knowledge to weight lifting/ nutrition, and his ability to motivate makes him the best at what he does. To me, he’s not a trainer, he’s a friend. His meal plans won’t break the bank, and are extremely manageable. With his help, I have lost over 100lbs and have made fitness not only a routine, but a way of life.. Pete literally saved my life, and for that, I will always be grateful!

I am 36 and never had an issue with maintaining my weight or being active in the past and always worked out on my own. In 2013, my right hip started to give me a lot of pain and I was losing flexibility very quickly. I found out I had osteoarthritis in both hips. I decided to quit smoking and gained about 25 lbs. I was slowly becoming depressed due to the weight gain and hip pain. I tried yoga, pilates, other trainers, etc.... I could not lose the weight. I decided in June of 2016 to have my hip replaced and I wanted to be strong for my recovery. I found Health Targeted Solutions in July 2016 and I am so happy I did! I worked out regularly between July and Feb. Not only did I meet an amazing group of people that I now consider friends, I am coming up on 6 weeks since I had my hip replaced and know my quick recovery is because of Health Targeted Solutions. Al helped me strengthen my core, legs, and arms to prepare for this major surgery and Sue helped me learn how to eat correctly without starving myself. I cannot wait to go back and start training again with my new hip and watch my body transform even more than it already has. Everyone is so motivating and welcoming here, I recommend Health Targeted Solutions for anybody and everybody looking for a fun, motivating atmosphere! You will see results!!!

I've been going to Al since November (About 7 months now). I was previously a collegiate athlete and lost my passion for exercise because being fit had always come natural to me. I put on some weight, but never felt the need or desire to workout. I was nervous about going to a personal trainer, but my sister convinced me that Al was great--Let's just say my sister was completely right! I now go to Al about 2-4 times a week. I've lost weight and gained muscle. I have never looked forward to working out like I do now. As much as I know it is hard work, I feel amazing after!! Al creates unique workouts for every session, he will push you to achieve, and makes you feel proud of what you accomplish. He looks out for his clients and wants them to do their best all the time. Part of this review not only goes out to Al, but also to the group of people that he trains. There is absolutely NO judgement, you feel supported by everyone around you! All people are helpful, nice, and want you to do your best (just like Al). Since going to Al, I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident than I have felt since I was a college athlete. Al makes fitness affordable and makes things possible for people to achieve!

I can't say enough good things about Jenny and her personal training. Above all else she is a great person and really cares about her clients and getting them the results they are looking for. I don't think anything could be done any better!! Jenny is amazing! She's very personal and fits exercises to your personal needs. The hardest part about having a trainer is on the off days and Jenny makes that easy by sending you workouts to do at your own home with whatever equipment you have. Even when it comes to nutrition and eating clean and healthy Jenny will help you. She's extremely nice, helpful, and she wants you to reach your goals as much as you do. I would definitely recommend Jenny as a personal trainer to anyone. :)

Before my wedding I wanted to look my best and Jenny made that possible. She pushed beyond anything I thought I could do. I was unable to do a push up but through Jennys diet advice and workout plans I could do 13 MAN push-ups! Her energy and dedication to fitness really rub off. It's a lot of hard work but she also pushes the accountability onto you and after a while I didn't want to let myself, or Jenny down. She's really amazing and highly recommend her as a personal trainer.

I was battling a hand injury at the time and Mary made sure to plan around my injury to ensure the best possible workouts without causing further damage. I have trained with Ryan for more than a month by now and I have only positive things to mention about him. From the first meeting, Ryan has met and exceeded my expectations. His method of training is generating results for me and I have yet to have a sore muscle. The sessions are varied and never boring. Ryan pays close attention to how the trainee performs the exercises and constantly questions for pain, burn, strain. while correcting body posture for best results. His nutrition recommendations are easy to follow.I appreciate the fact that Ryan encourages healthy eating habits for weight control rather than pills and powders and all sorts of diets. All the training sessions that we go through are tailored to my specific goals that I set during the first meeting. Ryan is constantly adjusting my workout sessions to make sure that I am making steady progress. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend Ryan as a personal trainer. Ryan is full of energy but not overwhelming, has a positive attitude, always on time, has a wealth of knowledge relative to the human body muscles and how to best put them to work His approach is on the opposite spectrum of "one size fits all" training method and I really appreciate that.

Shannon is the most motivating trainer that I have ever worked with! She has helped me build muscle and shed fat and consistantly influenced me to make the necessary lifestyle changes to maintain my body! If it wasn't for shannon I would still be at 32% body fat , 152lbs at 4'10 and unhappy about the fact that I was barely strong enough to get up 3 flights of stairs! She kept me going even when I put unhealthy weight back on and got a little off track! She's the best! I'm now at 26.7% body fat and weight 138.2lbs! I'm not done yet either!!! Gus is such a thoughtful and knowledgeable personal trainer. I hired Jeannette to help me get back into shape after having my baby. I have always been in good shape ,and no stranger to a gym. After having my baby and juggling life, I felt I needed someone to keep on track, and that's where she came in. She assessed me, spent ample time explaining the program I was about to start. Plus, I developed diastasis recti from my pregnancy, Jeannette knew the exercises that would help me in this area. We worked diligently to gradually bring my abdominal muscles back together, and more importantly to help strengthen my low back and abs; which from what I've learned help with overall support to the entire body. Jeannette is thorough with every exercise she introduces. That helped! What I also appreciated was how she checked in between sessions to see how I was feeling, plus would send me information regarding healthy eating and exercises I can do at home. Ryan is an extremely intuitive trainer. I've worked with other trainers in the past who seem to have a one-size-fits-all approach or create workouts that benefit their body needs more than my own. I found Ryan through a referral from a cross-fit gym. I had a lot of imbalances in my hips and lower body due to years of long distance running, and cross-fit exacerbated the problem. I was going to the chiropractor once a week to control the pain I would feel after sitting or driving for long periods. Ryan's approach was simple but incredibly effective. Within months I was vastly improved. After 2 years, I have no residual pain and haven't been to the chropractor in over a year. I still see Ryan once a week. In addition, he provides an app as part of his training package. He uploads workouts specific to my needs that I can access on the app and complete on my own at home or in the gym. He has changed the quality of my life. I am an overall healthier and happier person.

My husband has been in the boxing/mma industry for 17+ years. We would now like to take some time and focus on our own fitness goals. He wants to gain functional muscle, I want to gain slight definition. I have never really worked out, he has. We want to make meeting with our personal trainer a lifestyle change. We have a gym on our property for our use. We like old school sandbags, kettlebells, boxing bags. Not to big on useless cardio - we'll take care of that on our own with a quick HITT training session ourselves a few times a week. Help us build functional muscle for real strength!
