Allen fixed two leaky tubs, two potential leaks in basement, installed new faucet and garbage disposal. Did a great job and price was reasonable. I will calm him again next time I need a plumber.
Very knowledgeable. Made us feel he knew what he was doing. In and out in about and hour and completed the plumbing for a tub and and exterior faucet.
I am a landlord that lives out of the state of Minnesota. My tenant needed several repairs to be done in my townhouse in Columbia Heights, MN. I got in contact with Steve who was very friendly and prompt. I talked to him that night about the repairs. He said he would be able to complete the task. The kitchen sink garbage disposal needed to be fixed along with several other projects around the house (changing sink faucet, dryer vent, window screen, lights etc). He got everything done the next day. He truly lived up to his name! The price he charged was very fair as well. He sent me pictures of the projects via text and also emailed me additional pictures and receipts for the supplies. Thank you Steve for being so honest, trustworthy and reliable! I will not hesitate to call upon him again in the future.
Cory did a great job on our floor and shower stall tile. He also installed a new vanity countertop, faucets, and mirror. He made sure everything was done to our satisfaction and was very considerate of our space. I would recommend him to anyone!
Elliot replaced a shower faucet cartridge. He informed me Delta has a life time warranty on their parts! Saved me some money. Did very good work.
Larry was outstanding all around. He helped me re-route and install a new bathroom exhaust fan that had been poorly DIY'ed by a previous home owner. He was able to come out within the week, evaluated the situation, ran to the hardware store and completed the work within his original time estimate. Great communicator, hard worker, totally honest guy. Will definitely hire again.
I contracted with WD Home Repairs for: - demo of an existing bathroom consisting of carpet, toilet, cabinetry, sinks, and 1-piece fiberglass shower unit - floor tile installation - shower tile installation (walls and floor) Throughout the process, Donald was responsible, approachable, and reasonable. The quote for the project beat top-rated bathroom remodeling firms (Angie's List) by a significant margin. WD Home Repairs maintained an eye for detail while completing the project. As with any project of this scale, a couple of unforeseen issues came up. I was impressed with the speed and positive attitude in which WD Home Repairs resolved these issues. I am pleased with the finished project. The overall experience was largely worry-free. I would not hesitate to contract with WD Home Repairs again for future tiling projects.
Jamie dod a fantastic job in our bathroom, installing an exhaust fan, fixing tile and ceiling and reinstalling the shower curtain. Will definitely hire again!
Tyler and Mariah did an absolutely wonderful job finishing my bathroom and I would recommend them to anyone. The job was finished in the timeframe they originally estimated and there were no surprises along the way. Of course I had my heart set on the most pain-in-the-arse tile and shower door but Tyler got it all done without complaint! They were a pleasure to work with and I have no hesitation about using them for whatever hair-brained idea I come up with next 😂
Tiled the wall in the bathroom around the shower. Apex Construction did an amazing job, the tile looks outstanding. They were on time and cleaned up when finished. I would hire them again for the next project.
Rob installed patio door for me.Even though it was very cold outside(i wanted this done before snow)he came amd tackle the project for short time.I most likly will use him again in spring time.
Picture this. ...a flooded house, with endless tussle with the insurance company and a gloomy moldy smell , until I met Julio. From hard wood floor installation, plumbing in the bathroom, installing a storm door, refinishing partial basement from water damage to helping with other handy jobs that were not even part of the agreement, because he is s perfectionist. The best part of it all was his professionalism. He treated my home with respect and I am happy to come home again.
I got a new pump in my toilet and a shower head installed. They were very quick and professional.
We wanted to take this time to say what a great job Tru-Build did on our bathroom remodel. Ryan and Tessa are an amazing duo to work with. Tessa met with us and discussed our bathroom options and provided us with an interior design session that let us narrow down everything from the heated towel bar to the drawer knobs. Tru-build provided a high-end luxury look at an affordable price. In fact, they blew the other bids out of the water. As my husband and I are working professionals and have pets, they were considerate of our needs during the construction process. Tessa was onsite to meet the subcontractors every day and made sure our house was in tip top shape during the construction. The custom built cabinetry and glass shower door turned out amazing. I am truly impressed with Ryan and Tessa as they kept us in the loop during the entire project. I highly recommend using Tru-Build for your next remodel project.
Dan was great to work with. He was very responsive and professional. Our frameless shower looks amazing - we've gotten so many compliments! I'd recommend his services.
Crown molding installed throughout our house. It was great craftsmanship and speedy.
Replaced flooring in two apartment kitchens. Had to replace subfloor too. The job was done quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Beckman Remodeling and I will use them again.
F&P listened really well to what I wanted in my new home and used as many of my ideas as they thought feasible. When there was a change to be made, it was always for the better design-wise or money-wise. I was amazed at how they could come up with a drawn-up plan that was just what I wanted, even though I did not always have a clear picture in my own mind. They opened up a load-bearing wall between my living room and dining room, making sure that the city engineers came out to help figure out the safest way to accomplish it and to sign off on the plans. F&P came up with a cost-saving solution for an old shower in the basement, which saved me doing an entire bath remodel. In my galley kitchen, F&P built and installed a small flip up butcher block table by the back garden window, for having a solo meal or cup of tea, while gazing out the window. They put in new baseboards throughout the house and installed new doors. In the front entry, F&P removed the 1950's style floor-to-ceiling poles and instead designed a half-wall to fit around a bench with storage spaces for shoes which I had and wanted to use, for people to sit on when entering and for separating entry space from the rest of the living room. They designed and built it like furniture, with a finished look: inset panels and a top mantel-like ledge resting on cove molding. F&P cleaned up each day after their work, neatly stowing tools and materials and vacuuming/sweeping up construction dust. This was MUCH appreciated, as I was spending my evenings and time in between their work painting walls and woodwork. Everything was done with care for design, safety and budgeting. F&P always presented a complete written estimate of the cost, coming in at or sometimes, below the estimate. If there was an unexpected cost or choice to be made, they consulted me first, my decision being the final one. No hidden costs to surprise me in the end! I would not hesitate to use F&P Remodeling by Design for any future home remodeling and heartily recommend them for anyone wanting to remodel in their home.
I had Trenton put up my Dreamline glass shower doors and hooked up the plumbing on my 1 piece shower head/sprayer/bath spout unit. He worked diligently and wasted no time. Cleaned up after himself. Trenton was knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. I will use him again.
A bathroom remodel that included gutting everything except the vanity. Jim and those he works with were in constant contact and kept on track as promised with timing of the project. Jim will help you coordinate all materials with the best merchants to ensure the best price. He has relationships with all of them which ensures best prices possible for countertops, cabinets, tile (including design) as well as labor. We had no idea how to approach a bathrom remodel and knew we didn't want to act as our own general contractor. Hiring Jim to oversee it, helped us get the remodel done quickly, with good quality materials at a lower price than we would probably have been able to realize on our own. The tile installer was incrediblly meticulous. It looks perfect throughout the room from the shower to the bathroom floor and other walls. They took extreme care to keep the area clean and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We won't hesitate to work with Jim and Cady Handyman in the future for other remodeling. We highly recommend Jim.
Nick did a great job for us. We had a leak in a tub/shower that had ruined the ceiling and wall in the lower level bath shower. And our master bath shower needed to be redone also because the grout was falling out.. We had some water damage on one wall in our family room and we needed to have a new door installed at the bottom of our basement stairs. Plus we needed a new driveway, porch and sidewalk and new gutters. Nick was able to get the plumbers, painters, cement and gutter people in to do their work exactly when they were needed as well as the cultured marble installer. Nick did all of the demo and rebuilding of the showers and tile installation himself. It all took about 6 weeks. Part of that time was to finish one bathroom before proceeding to the other 2 so we would have one usable bathroom at all times. I felt I had an open line of communication with Nick the whole time. We couldn't be happier with the results.
