FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
95% of our clients do 30-minute training sessions. 30-minute training allows for the following: - Higher training frequency, meaning you're getting to the gym more often. - Easier scheduling to fit your busy schedule. - Much less risk of overtraining and injury. - Equal, if not better, results as 60-minute training. Because of my commitment to helping you achieve success, your consultation and first training session are both free!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As I mentioned, your first 2 sessions with me are always free. We always begin with a consultation. In the consultation, I want to learn about: - Your goals - Your exercise and health history - I always ask the question, "For you to have a successful personal training experience, what will have happened?" - At the end of your consultation, if there is time, I like to conclude with a movement assessment to observe your body's mechanics. Your complimentary training session will show you what working with me looks like and to see if we are a good fit for working together. My calendar is also very full, and I want to make sure I can be helpful to everyone who does choose to work with me. If I think that there is someone better who can help you, I will tell you in this session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Sports Medicine. My focus was on performance coaching for athletes to help them prevent injuries and improve explosiveness and speed. I am also certified in personal training and strength and conditioning.
