Holly was my Wedding Planner, Day of Coordinator, and Florist all in one and did better than any team coordinators and florists ever could! Holly took my dream wedding and made it reality-while keeping my budget in mind. When disaster struck on the day of and the venue was not set up on time, Holly went straight to work and properly delegated the employees of the venue and made sure that everything was as it should be (as well as personally fixing each and every chair cover)!!! Holly saved my day and saved me LOADS of stress. I would recommend her for any wedding or event at any of her listed position! Thank you again Holly, you made my vision come to life.

Luzette Catering catered our outside wedding. Daniel was always punctual and returned my calls in a timely manner which was very important to us when planning a wedding. The food was great and the price was very reasonable. The serving staff was there the day of at a appropriate time to have everything set up and served. Often times caterers aggressively track down the bride or groom for payment right after serving and Daniel did not do that at all. He was very respectful of our time and was very professional the throughout the entire experience. The only complaint we had was the bar service. The bar seemed to be unorganized and the bartender was not friendly to put guest. However, when this was brought to Daniels attention he was receptive to the information and assured is that he would address this for any future events. Overall we were very satisfied with Luzette Catering and would use and recommend them for any event. June, 2014

I was married in downtown Chicago in July 2011 -- I still get butterflies when I think about the day. I gave Shellee my vision and she turned it into a fairytale. My friends & family still talk about how special & unique the day was for them -- even as guests. I am writing to let everyone know how pleased we were with Kelly Houlehan as a wedding coordinator for our daughter’s wedding, June 24, 2017. The ceremony was held at the MN Arboretum and we some scheduling challenges that Kelly navigated easily. When I arrived at the Arboretum at 11:00 am the day of the wedding, I had no idea Kelly and I would not get into the reception venue to prepare the tables until much later in the day when I was scheduled for photos. Kelly used her time efficiently to listen to my detailed plan, sort the décor to facilitate the transfer of flowers, candles, lights, pictures, and butterflies to their respective locations. She set up everything without my help. The reception room was absolutely stunning and the ceremony lovely. I could never have successfully done the décor had it not been for Kelly’s hard work, efficient planning and professionalism. Kelly was also on hand to reminded us of our photo timelines and got us to the ceremony location on time. She served as a point person for any questions that came up during the reception like helping the DJ to upload the slide show, coordinating the event with the Arboretum staff and keeping my relatives' meals warm while they stepped out for a minute. Kelly was there to respond to every question or problem that arose. She also help organize clean up and packed the décor at the end of the evening. WOW!! Kelly was easy to work with and made it possible for me to enjoy my daughter’s wedding, eat a wonderful meal and celebrate the evening with dancing. I cannot speak more highly of Kelly’s ability to listen carefully, actualize that plan, herd our families around to pictures, ceremony and reception, and clean up. She is an exceptional contractor for the Wedding Collective. I would highly recommend Kelly’s services to everyone who is planning a wedding. Thank you Kelly.

Jaime did an amazing job of helping me plan my destination wedding. I tried to do it on my own, but after 4 days of searching for the right venue, I was feeling overwhelmed. I hired Jaime as my wedding coordinator and she was able to provide several options within hours of my initial contact with her. She respected my budget and only offered services in my financial range. She was available every time I contacted her with a question, concern, or idea. She created a Pinterest board exclusively for my wedding, which allowed me to see ideas that fit with my desires. I'm a Type B personality and just don't enjoy the overwhelming amount of work that goes into planning a wedding. Jaime took on the challenges of my destination wedding with zeal. She doesn't treat event planning like a job; she takes the time to make people feel like their event is the most important thing she's ever done. I highly recommend Jaime for any event planning. I will definitely hire her again!

Maddie and Ask for the Moon Events provided Day-of Coordinator services for our wedding. We had an introductory appointment where we sketched out our preliminary plans and details, a month-out appointment where we created a detailed timeline, Maddie ran our rehearsal, and she and her assistant were with us for the whole wedding day. Maddie Hughes helped my fiancé and me feel completely at ease during our wedding day because she took the worry out of our hands. We had taken care of most of the planning, but she helped us put together a detailed timeline that made sure that the day went by smoothly without extra stress for us or our family/friends. It made it so easy to just enjoy the day. Maddie and her assistant were punctual, very well organized, and they made everything feel as easy-going as possible. They coordinated with all our vendors, handled venue setup (wow!), kept us on schedule while allowing it to seem flawless and effortless for our guests, and really made sure our day was just as we had hoped. We would recommend Ask for the Moon Events without hesitation to anyone planning an event.

We hired Ole Piper to cater our wedding reception at the Rosemount Community Center. We made the decision to hire them based on our previous wonderful experiences with the restaurant/ownership. They provided an excellent assortment of food, based on our requests and their great recommendations, that was cooked to perfection and was right on time. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. The process of having the it ready and served was seamless and done to perfection. It was clear they had the experience and expertise to handle our special day. We highly recommend using Ole Piper to cater any event.

Jessica and Jenna are true professionals. I booked them as my day-of coordinators for my wedding reception, and from the beginning they were prompt and clear communicators - over email, by phone, and in our in-person site visit. They really know weddings and events inside out and were always thinking two steps ahead. I always felt like they were listening to my vision and asking good clarifying questions in order to execute my event in the best way possible. We are writing to give our most enthusiastic recommendation for Erin Steinlage. She is a great wedding planner. We worked with Erin during the entire process of planning our daughter’s wedding in 2013. Her encyclopedic knowledge of all aspects of planning the perfect wedding, people skills and enthusiasm are unmatched. Erin is meticulously organized and has the ability to just "get things done" while remaining calm. She introduced us to excellent vendors, added creativity, handled last minute details seamlessly and accepted challenges with incredible grace. Erin has a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle the multiple needs of a project of this type. I have seen many events catered by Penny and her team, and am always impressed by how seamlessly and flawlessly they take place. Penny always comes more than prepared to make the event perfect, has a lot of creativity, great menu options, and very affordable prices. We've had her to banquets, buffets, anniversary parties, client events, birthday parties, barbecues, garden parties, and more. Hopefully one of these days we'll get to see her work her magic on a wedding, too!

When I asked Jessica to be my wedding planner I had no idea what to expect. I thought that she would perhaps give me some professional advice and help relieve stress. But little did I know she would make wedding planning a fun and enjoyable experience. She did everything from looking at venue spaces, taste testing, color patterns, organizing tables, and more! She knew what questions to ask vendors to guarantee no hidden fees. Jessica helped Corey and I find the best prices and the best quality, while still allowing us to have complete access to everything. Corey and I were still in school and she made planning a wedding look effortless. Her sense of professionalism and connections in the event planning community is irreplaceable. We are so thankful for her and could not have planned our wedding without her! Planning the wedding of your dreams can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be. We highly recommend Jessica Levens!

Joan did an amazing job with our wedding! My husband & I were convinced we wouldn't need a wedding planner. But a few weeks before the wedding we were swamped. Joan was extremely professional, worked within our budget, & made sure our big day went off without a hitch. She even worked with my Mom to decide the best flowers & color scheme for our wedding! She helped arrange the food, set up the venue, the photographers, video, music & audio equipment. What impressed me the most was her amazing ability to maintain control as well as her passion for making our day stand out amongst all other weddings! Our friends & family are still raving about it!

I strive for excellence in all areas, as if it were my own wedding day. I also offer assistance with vendor recommendations, favor recommendations and preparation, and all items that are to go home with the bride's parents that night, are packed and ready to be loaded into their vehicles before I leave the reception venue (usually about the time the dancing starts). A detailed Contract of Services is signed by the wedding coordinator and the bride's parents, and a copy supplied to the bride's parents at least two weeks prior to the wedding weekend.
