- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I recommend 1/2-hour lessons for young students, progressing toward hour-long sessions when the student would benefit from an extended lesson time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a little bit acquainted first to understand what the student wants and needs in their music education. For example, do they read music? Do you want to play mallet percussion or only drum set? Are they a part of school band? Do they have any prior music experience? Who are their musical heroes? What music do they love? In this way, I can tailor the lessons to be a combination of what they want to know and what they need to know to be successful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance and have studied with some of the world's best drummers and percussionists.
