Brian's rapport with both my kids made learning music fun and they felt successful. He's very professional and easy to work with! Using him for both piano and guitar lessons--with the added bonus of him coming to our home--has been a good fit for us!

Ella is 14 a 14 yr old young lady who looks forward to going to her guitar lessons with Ric, she has never picked up a guitar before this. This is her 3rd lesson, but she has become more confident in who she is already. Even at school in her normal day she seems to have opened up more and not so shy. Ric is an amazing teacher, soft spoken, cheering her on, and is fun. Ella's words: Ric says "If i make a mistake i shouldn't stop and look back i need to just keep going forward" so that's what i keep doing until i get it right. Thank you Ric!! Rae, Mark and Ella Hansen

Pat Shelby, Guitar Teacher January 18, 2015 Do you dream of playing the guitar or improving your skills? Please allow me tell you about my experience taking guitar lessons from Pat Shelby. Pat is personable, approachable, and creates such a fun, safe, energetic, yet focused atmosphere, that it is simply a pleasure to practice, try new skills, and look forward to the next step of proficiency. He is a professional musician with awards, CD’s and years and years of experience not only with acoustic guitar, which is what I’m learning, but with bass and electric, as well. He assessed my level, then personalized my lessons to help me achieve my goals, offered up music theory that I could understand, and patiently worked with a learning disability that I have. He used technology to enrich the experience, providing chord charts printed out specific to my songs, arranging guitar music to suit my vocal range so I could sing with it. He sent follow-up lesson notes to me via e-mail, and tracked my progress to keep me moving forward. He also sent Youtube links with lessons targeted to my current skills. I enjoy every lesson with Pat, and also enjoy seeing and hearing his other students at recitals where the students, ranging in age from 6 or 7 years old to retired, perform everything from folk to rock to blues to classical music with the guidance and encouragement of this gifted teacher. Add in flexible scheduling and reasonably-priced lessons, and you may find that your dream of playing or improving at the guitar is about to come true.

I took bass lessons from Kameron when he lived in Philadelphia and cannot say enough good things about him. He taught me how to read music, was always prepared with a lesson and gave me great material to work on at home. Kameron is a seriously talented bassist and musician and can take your playing anywhere you want it to go. I ended up playing bass in a local cover band and I highly doubt I would have gotten there without him! It was a TRAGIC day when Kameron left Philly. Let our loss be your gain....

This is best music opportunity for children interested in rock and roll. Our kids have been at the School of Rock for over 4 years and the rewards to them have been many. They have received excellent instruction in guitar, drums, bass, vocals, and on-stage performance and as well as attended many of the free workshops and fun get-togethers the school organizes. Most valuable however, is the weekly experience collaborating with the other students in band rehearsals. They truly feel like they're part of a rock band and need no other incentive than this to practice each day. The instructors and show directors have high expectations of all students. Students who work hard are offered additional opportunities to participate and improve. As for Stacey herself, we truly believe that it is her open, positive attitude that has created such a supportive, successful environment for the students, parents and staff.

Olu is a fantastic guitar teacher. He plays the lead, acoustic and bass guitar extremely well and he plays several music styles. His teaching style is unique in that we practice a tune on the bass and then he accompanies me with his acoustic or lead guitar, therefore every lesson ends in a jam session

My son wanted to take bass lessons and after a quick google search I found Mr. Gilmore's website. His rates are reasonable and his resume is solid. My son really loves his patient teaching style and is quickly taking to the basics of both playing and music theory. I would highly recommend Hugh to anyone looking for a professional, patient and knowledgable teacher.

My approach to guitar I feel is unique because I simply built myself from the ground up musically, I have always been a big fan of music since my first memories which consisted of bands like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and Dire Straits to name a few. Later I diversified myself musically from gaining exposure to all different types ranging from Parliament, Frank Zappa, Rush, Emperor, Morbid Angel to stuff like Leadbelly, Chopin, Brian Setzer, and Waylon Jennings. It has been a sttange and interesting musical journey, filled with time spent playing with musicians of all types, jamming or otherwise.
