FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Fifteen years ago...some friends of mine asked me to perform their ceremony. Shortly after that my sister and her husband asked me to officiate for their ceremony too. A few years later I decided to do my graduate studies and attained my M.A. in Religion and Theology. I specialize in nondenominational language which bridges faith and non faith traditions. The language of love is the common denominator...and there are many dialects! While I was in grad school I worked in events...which allows me so much insight into the behind the scenes details!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Watch the apples and oranges! A quality service is something you pay for...and officiants who offer quality know their worth, and they stand behind it with honesty and transparency! There won't be hidden costs or add on fees. The cost will be up front, and you will definitely get what you pay for!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Experience is everything! Knowing all of the small steps before and after the aisle...how to "hold" a couple on their wedding day so that they can enjoy their day with grace and happiness. There are so many tricks to the trade that eliminate stress!!! You just have to have the experience, awareness, presence, and care!
