Introduction: With 15 years of teaching experience, I work hard to build a private studio that is more than just weekly lessons, it is a community of students and parents dedicated to hard work and fun. My teaching style is based on the belief that my students' needs are of the utmost importance. No matter the style or instrument, a basic technical foundation for success is the top priority! I strongly believe there is no one method or way to teach any instrument. I work with each student/parent individually to make sure they understand the steps to learning their chosen instrument and ultimately finding success. In my pedagogical studies I have also found group lessons to be integral to the learning process, so they are an included part of my tuition along with the standard weekly private lessons, recitals, and volunteer performance opportunities.
