FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been photo driven....Starting with my mother, I blame her! I love pretty pictures....I love to see peoples reactions to pretty pictures and creativity. I began taking pictures in high school for the yearbook....continued on in college with newspaper, magazine and TV. Since then, I have 17 years of Photojournalist experience in TV news...and even more experience taking photos for family and friends. It is a passion I truly love!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find the right fit for your job. You need to know what kind of memories you are looking to have captured. Do you just need someone to edit together the home videos you have taken? Call me, I'll work with you to customize them. Or do you want someone to follow your family through the pumpkin patch, or go berry picking with you...or maybe just head to the playground? Call me....I'll tag along.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Every photographer is different. We all have different qualities, different strengths and weaknesses. I am best at catching moments...In video or photographs. The moment between a mother and her baby....or the moment when a child's eyes light up. When everyone is posed and looking at the camera, the camera is the center of attention. I would like to be the fly on the wall witnessing real life.
