Do not hire this company without a contract, include expected work completion dates, payment milestones and a meeting if/when the estimate goes over the expectation. This company has a habit of no call/ no showing when work is being expected, and did not complete the project as requested or at all. Multiple instances of property damage by workers that was not repaired. Once final payment was issued the worker was requested to leave by the company with the job unfinished.

I needed to do minor repair of booths seating in a Taco Bell store. We, Facility Concepts Inc. are 5-6 hours away. After contacting Handy Girl booths were repaired within a couple hours saving us from sending our technician on the road. This worked well. I would continue using Thumbtack but likely have insurance and other issues from commercial work requirements. If these concerns can be addressed or there are provisions for commercial locations I am unaware of I would use Thumbtack regularly across the country. My experience is from May and June of 2020. Agnes continually lied and made up stories about why she was late or would need to reschedule. Nothing ever made sense. We had to fire her before any actual work could get started. She promised to return our deposit and then ghosted us. We never received any money back.
