I have thought about going to a nutritionist for years but always figured it would be too costly. On a whim, I decided to search for one on thumbtack. I love working with Sarah and the meal plan has been top notch. It works well for me because there is flexibility. Sarah is helpful when I have questions to ask between appointments and is understanding when I fail and offers help and solutions.
Summer was very professional and knowledge. I will start my workout soon. I definitely feel Summer will help me meet my weight goals and she recommend the Whole 30 it has been a great read!!!!
I returned back to the gym in February after disappearing from it for two year (work related injury, not an excuse however the truth). I ballooned to 263lbs, my health was declining, and I was on the brink of having to start a new wardrobe due to my size. I had to change my habits. I met with a bunch of personal trainers at different gyms and none really stood out. Yes it sounds like a fantasy but the last one I met was Joe. Joe had the personality that would push me to excel. I can't say it was one specific thing that stood out about Joe, however the gut feeling in combination with first impressions I had to go with it. Joe knew what he was talking about. He broke his plan and the process down to my level, a person who works out but didn't totally understand all intricate parts of what fitness, nutrition, and a healthy life style can accomplish. Over the next two months I would partake in two different meal plans and asix day a week work out regiment. Today I weighed in at 227lbs. Yes working out and wanting to change falls on each individual, however if it wasn't for Joe's background, knowledge, and expertise in nutrition, muscle development, and his passion to see his clients meet and exceed their goals I wouldn't have seen the results I have already. Joe developed workout and meal plans that met my ever changing 24hr on call schedule. He provided me multiple avenues to contact him if I had questions on a workout or need to develop a supplemental meal on the fly. Joe will push you to meet and surpass your goals. His knowledge and proven accomplishments can be seen everyday by the multiple people who he helped in changing their lifestyle and meeting their personal goals at at the gym.
The guys at DNA are awesome. The trainers and their clients are like family and it never feels like a tedious workout experience.
I saw the nutritionist, Debbie Portell every three weeks but she was available by phone or text weekday or weekend. Made sure at the end of our conversations that my questions were answered. My trainer Julie Marlie was awesome. She was always smiling, personable and supportive. Even on the days I wasn't at the gym I would get text from her concerned how I felt after workouts and many uplifting affirmations. She gave me recipes she made for her family and advice on eating out. Just a lot of info. I started with Integrity Training Systems nine weeks ago and am down two sizes and between 18-20 pounds. And I feel great.
I've worked out with Josh Houseman at Relentless Fitness for a couple of years now, Josh is focused on a person's whole fitness, mind and body. He's really big on nutrition and great at teaching it. He is also the best at motivating you to push yourself harder and helping you in obtaining all your goals!

I trained with Adam twice a week for about a year and lost almost 100 lbs. and 10 dress sizes. In addition, Adam emailed me weekly 5 workouts I did on my own time. These were results I had never thought I'd achieve. Adam's motivation and care are what helped me stay committed. He has an energy about everything he does that helps you succeed. He's an awesome coach. I've learned more about exercise and nutrition in my time with Adam than I ever learned on my own or with any other trainer. My success is because of his motivation and coaching. He couldn't do the work for me, but with his encouragement, my weight loss was attainable. My only reason for not still being with Adam is I moved out of state or I would still be a client of Adam's.
Working out with my trainer Tisha Bergmann Perry​​this afternoon. If you need guidance from someone who understands exercise physiology, is super (SUPER) knowledgeable on nutrition and is also a nurse, I would highly recommend Tisha. Oh, and we have fun!

Johan has been working with me for about a month. In just this 30 days of true dedication, I have lost 8 lbs of fat and gained 2 lbs of muscle. I track my progress using the complimentary InBody machine that is available to his clients. To lose the weight, I have been following a nutrition plan that Johan has set up for me based on my individual needs, as well as, meeting 3 times a week. The training sessions are located in a private facility that warrants no crowds, contracts, or memberships. Other than the weight loss, I believe the most important take away from working with Johan is my gain in knowledge. He believes in empowering his clients to become self-sufficient in the gym setting so that we may eventually train on our own as life-long students of the health and fitness world. Johan does a fantastic job of building confidence and security as a student of the gym. While training, he is constantly explaining to you not only how to do a movement correctly, but also why you are doing the movement and explains which muscles you should be focusing on during the exercise. You never have to question if you are going to hurt yourself from doing a movement wrong or overworking a certain muscle in your body. If you are looking for true results and willing to put forth the effort- leave it to Johan to do the rest. I can offer only the highest recommendation for Johan as you search for a personal trainer/nutritionist.
