- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge agency fees for booking your cruise or vacation. My goal is to find the best available value for your trip, including competitive pricing, promotions, upgrades, onboard credits, and other offers when available. Pricing, promotions, availability, taxes, and fees are controlled by the cruise line or travel supplier and can change at any time. I work with each client to compare options and find the best value for their budget. Recently, I helped a client book a Royal Caribbean cruise with a total trip value of approximately $3,500 while saving more than $1,500 compared with other agency quotes and the cruise line's retail pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning what you are looking for in your vacation. You do not need to have everything figured out. Having a general idea of where you would like to go, your approximate travel dates, number of travelers, and budget is a great place to start. If you already know where you would like to travel or which cruise you are interested in, even better! I can help narrow down your choices and compare the options to find the trip that best fits your preferences and budget. From there, I research and compare the best available options, including pricing, promotions, cabin/room choices, upgrades, onboard credits, and other applicable offers. I will present the options that best fit your needs and answer any questions you have. Once you have selected the trip that is right for you, I will help you through the booking process and remain available to assist you along the way. There is no agency fee for booking through me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually train and educate myself on the cruise lines, resorts, and travel suppliers I work with so I can stay current on their products, policies, promotions, and differences. I have completed training and education with cruise brands including Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Ponant, MSC, Norwegian, and Princess, as well as hospitality brands such as Marriott and Hilton, among others. My primary specialty is cruises, but I can also assist with many other types of travel!
