- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into personal training from coaching softball with my dad. It was the way that I bonded with him and had a closer relationship with him, but it was also my dad who showed me how to build those relationships with others and have a positive impact in their lives. He taught me about treating everyone as family and helping others succeed regardless of the situation.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a client named Brittani who was getting ready for a wedding. She bought a 5-week plan that was designated to act quickly on starting her results. She ended up losing the weight within 3 weeks, and had to stop for a little while before her wedding because she wanted to make sure her dress would fit well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to look at all of the components of what the particular trainer or studio is willing to offer to you, and then make sure you are ready to take that first step to making a transition to changing your lifestyle and your mindset.
